90'
Aguero this time tries his luck from outside the box, but his curling effort is high over the bar.
89'
Abraham tries to take matters into his own hands to push Swansea forward. He does well to make it to the edge of the box but Mangala stops him in his tracks.
87'
Swansea with a rare surge forward, with Otamendi having to dangle a foot in front of Ayew to prevent the forward's shot going into the back of the net. Ki then tried to head the ball back across goal to Ayew, but Otamendi was on hand again to hammer it clear. City once again a little shaky at the back.
85'
S. Agüero has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by Y. Touré.
Yaya Touré gets the assist for playing the pass to Aguero, who raced into the box before firing into the bottom corner.
GOAL! Sergio Aguero adds the fourth and Swansea really should have learned by now. He has driven inside the right of the box time and time again in this game and this time his low effort beats Fabianski and finds the far corner.
83'
City drive forward through Bernardo Silva. He plays it wide to Sterling, who comes inside and shoots. It is blocked but falls only as far as substitute Zinchenko, who's follow up effort is high over the crossbar.
81'
Its a good delivery from the midfielder. He finds Mawson in the centre of the box but the defenders header is straight at Ederson.
80'
Swansea are finally seeing a little bit of the ball and Naughton wins them a free-kick on the right wing. Ki is stood over this one.
77'

City have enjoyed 80% of the possession in this second half and Swansea have offered absolutely nothing to cause them any concern at all. This has been a very easy game for Pep Guardiola's side.
Kevin De Bruyne makes way for İlkay Gündoğan in City's final change of the evening.
Minute
Description
74'
L. Fer enters the game and replaces W. Bony.
Wilfried Bony is off. He has had a very disappointing afternoon, misplacing the vast majority of passes he had tried to make. Leroy Fer is on to replace him.
73'
O. Zinchenko enters the game and replaces F. Delph.
De Bruyne with another free-kick. This time his low cross finds Sterling heading towards the front post, but the winger's flicked effort is straight over the bar.
Fabian Delph is replaced by Oleksandr Zinchenko.
72'
City earn themselves a corner on the left wing as some quick one-two football between Sterling and David Silva is eventually cleared away by Naughton, who had to slide in to prevent Sterling running in behind the defence.
70'
De Bruyne with another chance on the free-kick, very central of the Swansea box. It dips over the ball but it lacks the power to really trouble Fabianski, with the Swans keeper comfortably catching the shot.
68'
City continue to move the ball around with relative comfort. Swansea are pressuring a little more than they have been but they have yet to cause City any real concern. The attacking changes Clement has made have yet to offer any extra threat in the final third either.
65'
L. Narsingh enters the game and replaces N. Dyer.
Nathan Dyer is replaced by Luciano Narsingh in Swansea's second change of the evening.
64'
At the other end and City make a mess of clearing a corner. The return shot is deflected and Ederson shifts quickly to punch the ball away from goal. They've looked a little shaky at times when Swansea have come forward. There could be a goal in it for Clement's side if they apply some real pressure.
63'
Awful from Swansea and they are very lucky to get away with that. A poor pass suddenly sees City racing forward on the counter-attack, four against two. Aguero has it on the right wing but opts to come inside to try and shoot instead of finding a teammate, resulting in him overrunning the ball and straight into Fabianski.
62'
City's patient probing finally creates an opening as Aguero creates a yard or two of space to unleash a low shot from a tight angle, which rolls narrowly wide of the far post.
61'
It looks all too easy for Guardiola's side as they work the ball around the Swansea half with relative ease. No one is applying any real pressure.
58'
Y. Touré enters the game and replaces Fernandinho.
Fernandinho is off. On comes Yaya Touré.
57'
Excellent vision from Fernandinho to find the run of Sterling inside the left of the box. The England winger shoots on the volley at the near post, but Fabianski saves. It wouldn't have mattered anyway as the linesman calls for offside. City are in cruise control.
56'
David Silva takes it this time and swings in a cross towards the back post, where Mangala is inches away from getting something on it.
55'
Bernardo Silva earns City a free-kick on the right of the Swansea box. David Silva and De Bruyne are over it once again.
52'
David Silva has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by R. Sterling.
GOAL! It is surely game over for Swansea as David Silva makes up for his earlier miss by adding the third. Sterling isolated Kyle Naughton inside the box before sliding a pass into the feet of the Spaniard. David Silva took one touch before dinking the ball over the oncoming Fabianski and into the far corner. 3-0 City.
Raheem Sterling slots the ball towards the six yard box for David Silva to chip into the back of the net.
51'
Close! The Swans defenders' allow Aguero to slip inside the left of the box, where the Argentinian fires a low effort towards goal. Fabianski can only parry it towards the six yard box and it takes a last ditch clearance from van der Hoorn to prevent Sterling from firing in the rebound.
49'
City suddenly looking a little uncertain at the back as Swansea press high. Otamendi's back pass towards Ederson is poor. Ayew is on hand to block Ederson's pass out wide but it deflects back off the forward for a goal kick.
48'
Swansea then cause City some problems from a corner as Danilo beats Bony in the air inside the six yard box to head clear. It isn't quite away and Swansea try to work it back into the box but it is eventually hammered clear by the City defence.
47'
Close! City carve Swansea open right from the off. Aguero flicks the ball into David Silva inside the box. He only has the goalkeeper to beat but his curling effort is carelessly chipped over the crossbar. That should have been three.
46'
T. Abraham enters the game and replaces T. Carroll.
We are back underway. Swansea with a mountain to climb.
Tom Carroll is replaced by Tammy Abraham.
45' +1
The fourth official has indicated one minute of additional time.
45'
Bony again causing trouble on the half-way line as he shows great footwork to work his way beyond Fernandinho. He runs out of room and is forced backwards though.
42'
Three minutes of this first half to go and it is difficult to see Swansea getting anything out of this game now. Other than Ayew's early attempt they have been forced to camp in their own half. City are pressing the ball and winning it back as soon as they lose it. Very one sided half of football.
39'
The corner comes to nothing but City continue to control possession. Swansea just can't get out at the moment.
38'
City are in full swing now as they are throwing wave after wave of attack at this stretched Swansea defence. Mike van der Hoorn has to stick out a foot to prevent Raheem Sterling firing in the third and City get a corner.
34'
K. De Bruyne has scored a goal for Manchester City!
GOAL! Kevin De Bruyne doubles Manchester City's lead with a right-footed free-kick from the left wing into the bottom-right corner. It bounces straight across the face of goal and into the back of the net. Fabianski arguably should have had it covered but as it stands, City are in total control.
33'
City continue to dominate possession. Swansea try to play out quickly through Bony whenever they get the opportunity but so far the former Manchester City striker's lay offs and passes have been poor.
30'
A slight delay in play as Fabianski is down for treatment. He was caught in the head by the foot of David Silva after parrying Aguero's low effort into the danger area.
27'
David Silva has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by Bernardo Silva.
Bernardo Silva runs into a poor clearance by Swansea to whip in a brilliant cross towards the centre of the box, where David Silva is waiting to flick into the back of the net.
GOAL! Man City have been dominant and they get their goal. A poor clearance from Swansea rolls straight to Bernardo Silva on the right wing. He swings in a delightful cross to David Silva, who flicks the ball into the back of the net with his right-foot.
25'
Close! A City corner is initially cleared but its fired back into the box from the left wing. Fabianski comes out to punch it but gets it all wrong, only managing to get a fingertip to the ball and redirect it slightly. The ball drops to Otamendi at the back post but the defender can only fire over the bar. A lucky escape for the Swans there.
24'
City have enjoyed 74% possession in these opening 24 minutes, which shows just how one sided this game has been so far. Swansea are holding out well though and have had their rare breaks on the counter attack.
22'
City are using the wings a lot to try and find their way beyond this well organised Swansea defence. Bernardo Silva finds space on the right wing to curl a cross towards the centre of the box. Aguero gets his head to it but he can only loop it high over the crossbar and onto the roof of the net.
20'
Wilfried Bony shows great strength to hold off Mangala and wriggle his way into space in the midfield area. His pass is poor though and suddenly City are on the attack. Aguero tries a through ball for the run of Danilo but it has just a little too much pace on it and rolls out for a goal kick.
18'
De Bruyne whips in an inviting cross towards the front post from a free-kick. It finds Nicolas Otamendi but it strikes the defender on the shoulder before bouncing out of play.
16'
City finally stretch the Swansea defence a little. David Silva swings in a brilliant cross from the left of the box, but Aguero's header is straight over the crossbar.
13'
City again, this time with Fabian Delph. His cross towards the back post from the left wing finds Kevin De Bruyne in space, but Alfie Mawson is across quickly, doing enough to make the Belgian fire high and wide.
10'
The City attack comes to nothing and suddenly Swansea are on the break. Ayew has the ball on the edge of the box with two defenders ahead of him. He tries his luck from outside the box but Ederson dives low to save. A warning sign perhaps for City.as they are committing plenty of players forward.
9'
City are playing some wonderful one-touch passing around the final third as they patiently probe the Swansea defence. They are unable to find a way through so far.
7'
Excellent save! A City corner is initially cleared and it falls to Fernandinho on the edge of the box, who unleashes a low volley towards the bottom left corner. Lukasz Fabianski dives low to parry it well wide of his box and away from the danger area.
5'
Great work from Aguero as he wriggles his way beyond three Swansea players before firing his right-footed effort into the side netting.
4'
More City pressure is eased as Danilo pushes Ayew on the edge of the Swansea box. All City at the moment, Swansea have barely had a sniff of the ball.
2'
City with their first real push of the game. A misplaced pass by Ki Sung-yueng allows Aguero to charge at the defence, but his pass across the edge of the box fails to find a teammate.
1'
We're off! Manchester City get us underway, kicking left to right.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Premier League game between Swansea City and Manchester City at the Liberty Stadium.
Swansea City got a much needed win against relegation rivals West Brom at the weekend but still remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League table, two points adrift of safety. Only Everton have prevented Manchester City walking away with all three points in the league this season and it will be a huge task this evening for Paul Clement’s side to repeat that feat tonight.
The major concern for the Swans is their clear lack of goal threat. Despite re-signing Wilfried Bony in the summer, Swansea have only managed nine goals in 16 league fixtures, the lowest across England’s top four divisions. They will also have to manage tonight without injured winger Wayne Routledge, although defender Federico Fernandez could return to the starting line-up after making the bench at the weekend.
Manchester City’s win against title rivals Manchester United meant they matched Tottenham’s record for the best start to a season in the English top-flight, as well as scoring more goals in the process than the Spurs side of 1961. They have a commanding 11 point lead atop the Premier League table and the odds are heavily in the favour of Pepe Guardiola’s side securing another record with their 15th successive Premier League win.
City have the players to unlock any defence at the moment, shown in their last gasp victories against Southampton and West Ham United, and they will likely face a similar packed defence waiting for them at the Liberty Stadium tonight. Guardiola will be without defenders Benjamin Mendy and John Stones, who remain out injured and are joined on the sidelines by Vincent Kompany, who picked up a muscular injury during the Manchester derby at the weekend. Argentine forward Sergio Aguero is expected to be recalled after only making the bench at the weekend.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Swansea City XI (4-3-1-2): Fabianski; Naughton, van der Hoorn, Mawson, Olsson; Ki, Mesa, Carroll; Ayew; Dyer, Bony.
Swansea City Substitutes: Mulder, Clucas, Fer, Abraham, Narsingh, Fernandez, Rangel.
Manchester City XI (4-3-3): Ederson; Danilo, Mangala, Otamendi, Delph; De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Silva; Sterling, Aguero, Bernardo Silva.
Manchester City Substitutes: Zinchenko, Bravo, Walker, Gundogan, Sane, Toure, Jesus.
Paul Clement makes only one change to the Swansea side that beat West Brom 1-0 at the weekend, with Jordan Ayew replacing the injured Wayne Routledge. Centre-back Federico Fernandez once again takes his place on the bench.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
For City, there are four changes to the side that beat Manchester United 2-1, with injured captain Vincent Kompany being replaced by Eliaquim Mangala. Kyle Walker is replaced at right-back by Danilo and Pep Guardiola has opted to rotate players up front, with Sergio Aguero and Bernardo Silva coming into the side in place of Gabriel Jesus and Leeroy Sane respectively.
HALF-TIME: SWANSEA CITY 0-2 MANCHESTER CITY.
Swansea showed signs that they were going to cause problems for Guardiola's side in the early exchanges of the first-half but they have done anything but that. Manchester City have been totally dominant, shown by their 77% possession at half-time, and are deservedly in control after goals from David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne. Other than Jordan Ayew's shot, Swansea have offered nothing in attack and they will have to do something special to rescue a point from this tie.
The players are back out onto the pitch, ahead of the start of the second half. Swansea have made a change at the break, while Manchester City remain unchanged.
FULL-TIME: SWANSEA CITY 0-4 MANCHESTER CITY.
The 4-0 scoreline only begins to describe just how comfortable of an evening this was for Manchester City. Swansea's attacks were very few and very far between and in reality this scoreline could have been much bigger. David Silva added his second of the night with a chip over Fabianski after good link up play with Sterling, before Aguero added gloss to the scoreline, firing low into the far corner after a darting run into the right of the box. This victory means Manchester City have broken the record for the most consecutive league victories with their 15th of the season. Swansea, meanwhile, remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.
