Rico - who's been a decent option off the bench for Bournemouth - tries a left-footed volley just outside Spurs' box. It goes over, but his side's already lost. Why not go for the spectacular consolation goal?

74'
J. King enters the game and replaces D. Brooks.
Bournemouth make their final change. Brooks, who's had a quiet game, off. King on.
72'
Tottenham have been absolutely imperious today. Man City are still drawing away to Leicester. At this rate Spurs could be Liverpool's main challengers by the New Year.
70'
Son Heung-Min has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur!
GOAL! 5-0! Five-star Spurs score again! Rose ventures forward, putting Kane through with a simple ball. Kane puts Ake on his backside but slips himself at a tight angle. He pokes the ball to Rose, who slips too! Kane gets back to his feet and cuts back for Moura, whose shot is saved by Begovic but Son taps in from close range!
67'
L. Mousset enters the game and replaces C. Wilson.
Before the throw is taken, Wilson trudges off and is replaced by Mousset. The England striker looks frustrated and Howe seems to explain his thinking behind the switch.
65'
Bournemouth are looking to take Wilson off. They are perhaps wisely giving up on a result from this match. Meanwhile, Walker-Peters' high cross lands into the hands of Begovic.
63'
The referee gives Lerma what looks to be his final warning after a niggly foul on Eriksen. He's already been booked, remember.
61'
H. Kane has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by C. Eriksen.
GOAL! 4-0 Spurs. Stanislas' corner is headed as far as Fraser who loses it. Eriksen sets Kane on his way and Kane takes the ball towards the left corner flag. He passes back to Eriksen - Lerma blocks his initial effort, but the Dane's second lofted ball finds Kane arriving in the area and the England captain makes no mistake with a hooked volley on his left foot.
Eriksen's ball over the top for that goal was lovely. Spurs look hard to stop at the moment.
59'
Spurs are understandably far more content to keep the ball this half without it necessarily resulting in an attack. Wilson attempts to get behind Foyth down the flank but the Argentine makes a well-timed challenge. Bournemouth corner.
58'
Kane and Eriksen both stand over the kick. Kane eventually strides forward to sweve a powerful strike towards goal but it's central enough for Begovic to catch without moving.
56'
Moura sneaks past Ake in a central area and the Dutchman brings the Brazilian down. Spurs free-kick in a promising position.
55'
Sure enough, Spurs' energy levels have dropped in these first 10 minutes of the half. They still look like they could score again though.
53'
Bournemouth have a goal chalked off for offside. Stanislas jumps the gun while trying to connect with Rico's deep cross, sliding the ball into the Spurs net. The assistant referee Sian Massey-Ellis raises her flag immediately.
52'
Spurs work the ball all the way back to Lloris. His long kick is headed away by Ake straight to Winks. Down the other end, Eriksen attempts to find Son with a direct diagonal but Begovic rushes out to sweep up.
51'
Rico is next to give the ball away. Spurs look frightening on the counter-attack. Son delays a touch too long and the attack peters out. Instead Spurs pass the ball back, electing to keep possession.
50'
A well-worked throw-in by Bournemouth wins them a corner after Foyth steps in. Foyth comfortably hooks the corner away.
49'
Lerma is dispossessed by Kane and suddenly it's four on four. Kane lays the ball off to Son on the left but the South Korean can't return the favour.
47'
You have to wonder whether Spurs will take their foot off the gas in the second half with more games coming thick and fast. Already Bournemouth have reason to be aggrieved after Foyth seems to bundle Wilson over in the penalty area. No foul.
46'
Spurs kick off the second half. No changes for either side at half-time.
45' +7
HALF TIME: TOTTENHAM 3 - 0 BOURNEMOUTH

45' +3
Diego Rico enters the game and replaces S. Francis.
45' +2
Francis is carried down the Wembley tunnel to sympathetic applause. Rico comes on to replace him. Bournemouth will switch to three at the back.
45'
Play is still delayed. Francis is going to have to be taken off on a stretcher. Whatever injury he's suffered is clearly very painful.
40'
Sissoko and Rose combine to let the Frenchman power away down Spurs' left. Sissoko hooks a cross high and wins a third corner for his team. Begovic catches the corner comfortably.
39'
Stanislas meekly prods the ball at goal after finding himself in a bit of space on the left of Spurs' penalty area. Lloris is almost embarrassed to pick the ball up.
37'
Bournemouth show they are indeed still on the pitch after Stanislas slashes the ball high into the stands. The men from the South Coast look stunned.
35'
Lucas Moura has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by K. Walker-Peters.
GOAL! This is turning into a rout. Walker-Peters latches onto a direct ball after Daniels switches off. The full-back cuts the ball back for Moura and the Brazilian smashes the ball into the net. A simple goal, but brutally effective. 3-0 Spurs.
A hat-trick of assists for Walker-Peters. What a day he and Spurs are having. This is exhilarating to watch.
31'
Foyth cuts out a cross from the left by Fraser. Bournemouth still have a throw on that side though. It's taken quickly and Fraser whips another ball in, only for Alderweireld to head it away. A good spell for Bournemouth that ends with Wilson being called offside.
29'
Begovic slides out of his net to prevent Kane latching onto a through-ball behind Bournemouth's defensive line. Spurs are in complete control of this match now.
27'
City are currently drawing 1-1 away at Leicester, leaving Spurs on equal points with them as things stand. Liverpool, meanwhile, are winning 1-0 at home to Newcastle.
25'
The game is stopped after Francis comes off the worse in a clash of heads with Kane. The full-back is treated and Bournemouth sportingly return the ball to Spurs.
23'
Son Heung-Min has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by K. Walker-Peters.
That's two assists today for Walker-Peters already. Liverpool and Man City have reason to be concerned if Spurs carry on like this.
GOAL! Spurs are looking ruthless. Daniels hesitates in clearing a high ball in his own area despite two chances to do so. Walker-Peters intercepts and passes inside to Son - the South Korean takes a step and plants the ball into the bottom left corner of the net. 2-0 Spurs already, and this game looks over as a contest.
22'
Spurs gradually work the ball forward. Lerma cuts out another pass and Wilson tries to find Fraser down the left, but Sissoko gambols in and shrugs Fraser off.
20'
Son knocks the ball off Surman and wins another corner for Spurs. This time, it's taken short by Eriksen but Lerma breaks it up. Stanislas attempts to get away on the counter-attack but Rose puts a stop to it.
19'
Bournemouth try to get their breath back. The visitors put a few passes together in their own half while being harried by Spurs' front line. Eventually they are forced to boot the ball long, handing possession back.
17'
That was great awareness by Walker-Peters there. Bournemouth are unlucky to be behind.
16'
C. Eriksen has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by K. Walker-Peters.
GOAL! 1-0 SPURS! It's a cruel one for Bournemouth but shows Spurs' quality. Walker-Peters passes inside to Eriksen outside the area. In plenty of space, the Dane shoots at goal - a deflection off Ake wrong-foots Begovic and the home side have the lead.
11'
Ake and Daniels combine to set Wilson free down Bournemouth's left channel. Foyth spots the danger and hooks the ball out for a throw.
10'
Bournemouth are staying disciplined so far, pressing when the ball is in Spurs' half and dropping back as soon as Tottenham cross the halfway line. They're making it tough for the home side to find space.
8'
Tottenham can't make anything of the corner. Now Bournemouth have the chance to create something. Lerma's slide-rule pass is aimed for Brooks running across Alderweireld and Rose but Rose is alert and snuffs it out.
7'
Spurs are slowly getting a grip on this game in the early stages. The home side pop the ball around. Son eventually picks it up and takes Cook on one-on-one - the defender slides in to give Tottenham their first corner of the game.
5'
Francis attempts to slide Brooks through on goal. Unfortunately the pass has too much power on it. Bournemouth are looking to press Spurs high so far - Rose almost steals in behind them but the ball bounces straight to Begovic.
3'
Francis gives the ball away straight to Moura with a square diagonal ball. Fortunately the Bournemouth captain's teammates in defence spare his blushes.
2'
Spurs look to be playing a 4-2-3-1 with Eriksen behind Kane and Son on the left. Moura, wide on the right, can't keep a long ball in play.
1'
Bournemouth get this festive clash underway!
Bournemouth make a positive start to this match with Wilson whipping in a cross from the right. Sissoko and Walker-Peters work together to get the ball clear.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this Premier League game between Tottenham and Bournemouth at Wembley Stadium.
Whisper it quietly, but are Tottenham contenders for the Premier League title? Spurs certainly looked it in their convincing 6-2 victory over Everton at Goodison Park last Sunday. Now in third place, six points behind league leaders Liverpool, another win for Mauricio Pochettino's men today might help them barge their way into the championship conversation.
Spurs' opponents in today's traditional Boxing Day fixture are Bournemouth, who look to have ended their recent patchy form with a comfortable win at home to Brighton last weekend. Eddie Howe's team still sit in eighth with a possible Europa League place in their sights, and they'll want to continue their revival with a result today.
TOTTENHAM (4-3-1-2): Hugo Lloris (c); Kyle Walker-Peters, Toby Alderweireld, Juan Foyth, Danny Rose; Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks, Christian Eriksen; Lucas Moura; Son Heung-Min, Harry Kane.
TOTTENHAM SUBS: Davinson Sanchez, Paulo Gazzaniga, Kieran Trippier, Fernando Llorente, Ben Davies, Oliver Skipp, Erik Lamela.
BOURNEMOUTH SUBS: Tyrone Mings, Joshua King, Jermain Defoe, Jordon Ibe, Diego Rico, Lys Mousset, Artur Boruc.
No kit clashes today - Spurs walk out onto the Wembley pitch in their classic white shirts and navy blue shorts. Bournemouth look appropriately festive in their usual red and black stripes.
BOURNEMOUTH (4-4-1-1): Asmir Begovic; Simon Francis (c), Steve Cook, Nathan Ake, Charlie Daniels; David Brooks, Jefferson Lerma, Andrew Surman, Ryan Fraser; Junior Stanislas; Callum Wilson.
That was a brutal half for Bournemouth. The visitors started brightly but were quickly put to the sword by this effervescent Spurs side. Although Eriksen's opening goal was thanks to a lucky deflection, Son's and Moura's were definitely not. What's more, Bournemouth have now lost their captain to what looks like a serious injury. You won't blame them if their second half is all about damage limitation.
Spurs will return to Wembley in a few days' time to end the year with a home game against Wolves, while Bournemouth have to make a trip to Old Trafford to face a rejuvenated Man Utd. Good luck to them with that. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Spurs' resounding win leaves them second in the Premier League, a point ahead of Man City after they slipped to a 2-1 defeat away to Leicester. Liverpool are now seven points clear at the top. Bournemouth drop to 11th in the table. They'll have better days.
