Arsenal got back to winning ways last time out by defeating Burnley on home soil thanks to a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang along with a late strike from Alex Iwobi. The result moved the Gunners level on points with Chelsea, although one place out of the Champions League places in fifth. Unai Emery's men had a wobble suffering back-to-back defeats to Southampton and Tottenham, but another win this evening would signal that they're on the right track again.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Brighton and Hove Albion and Arsenal at the Amex Stadium.

It's all square at the break between Brighton and Hove Albion and Arsenal at the break at the Amex Stadium. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put the Gunners ahead with a neat finish, but the home side levelled 10 minutes before half time when Jurgen Locadia pounced on a long ball over the top and converted from close range. It has been a scrappy game, but Chris Hughton will be satisfied with the effort of his team after going behind in the early stages of the contest.
It has been the story of Arsenal's season that they've not been at their best in the opening 45 minutes. The Gunners played good football at times, including their move to take the lead through Aubameyang. However, they allowed the contest to drift and were punished for a piece of loose defending, leaving the match in the balance at the break.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
