Benevento try to push forward on one final attacking move of the evening, but a cross-field pass is poorly hit and sails out of play for a throw-in. That should be that.
90' +2
Space opens up for Karamoh, who quickly bursts towards the Benevento box. He then cuts inside and tees up Candreva to shoot, but on his weaker foot he's unable to test Puggioni and his shot is deflected behind for a corner.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be four minutes of added time.
89'
L. Del Pinto gets yellow.
A chipped pass forward picks out Karamoh, who can't quite control the ball on the edge of the visitors' box. Eder is able to pick up possession and burst forward, where he's clattered into by a clumsy sliding challenge from Del Pinto.
87'
Benevento push forward on a rare attacking move, and it results in a free-kick midway inside the Inter half of the pitch. Brignola does really well to keep the ball in play before whipping a cross into the penalty area, where the ball is deflected out Guilherme and sets up the Brazilian to unleash a thumping shot. It's well blocked, however, and fails to trouble Handanovic.
85'
C. Diabaté enters the game and replaces M. Coda.
Benevento have made a third and final switch, with Diabate coming on to take the place of Coda up front.
84'
Sloppy play by Benevento deep inside their own half of the pitch allows Gagliardini to pick up the ball just outside of the penalty area and shoot, but he ends up dragging his effort just wide of the near post.
83'
Brozovic is almost immediately presented with an opportunity to test Puggioni, but his run into the Benevento box is slightly mistimed and he's flagged offside as soon as he latches onto a clever pass from Candreva.
81'
N. Viola gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
M. Brozović enters the game and replaces I. Perišić.
RED CARD! Things have gone from bad to worse for Benevento, who now find themselves down to 10 men. Viola has been jumping into challenges all night and has now been shown a second yellow for a clumsily, late sliding tackle on Eder.
Inter have made their second alteration of the evening, with Perisic making way for Brozovic.
79'
A deft chip from Karamoh beats his man out wide and picks out Joao Cancelo on the byline. The Portuguese then whips a cross into the box, but it's slightly overhit and Perisic can't quite meet it at the far post.
Minute
Description
77'
Benevento have performed really well for most of the evening, but they now find themselves firmly on the back foot as Inter do well to put pressure on them. Those goals have given the hosts much-needed confidence, and they're now playing with greater belief than they were earlier in the night.
75'
Joao Cancelo screams down the right wing and initially looks to have got the better of Letizia, but the Benevento full-back does well to recover and is able to poke the ball away from the Portuguese before he can enter the box.
73'
Karamoh makes a clever run into the Benevento penalty area and tries to latch onto a long-range pass fired from the halfway line, but he can't quite reach it ahead of Puggioni and it's the goalkeeper who comes out on top.
71'
Eder goes down inside the box, but nothing is given! Inter quickly win the ball back from the restart and push forward through Eder, who breaks into the penalty area and goes down under a tackle from Tosca. He immediately screams for a penalty, but the referee isn't at all interested and waves play on.
69'
A. Ranocchia has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by João Cancelo.
GOAL! It's another for Inter! Two goals in three minutes has completely turned this game on its head. Once again it comes from a set-piece, as a lovely curling cross easily sets up Ranocchia to beat Puggioni with a low header.
It was Joao Cancelo who put the ball on a plate for Ranocchia with a lovely cross, but once again it was the substitute Del Pinto who failed to track his runner and left him in a pocket of space in front of goal.
68'
N. Viola gets yellow.
Inter quickly win the ball back from the restart and burst forward through Perisic, who is clattered into by Viola and wins the home side a free-kick in a promising position out wide.
66'
L. Del Pinto enters the game and replaces Sandro.
M. Škriniar has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by M. Vecino.
Sandro has made way, with Del Pinto replacing him.
GOAL! Inter have taken the lead! The Nerazzurri have been absolutely woeful tonight but, somehow, they find themselves 1-0 up. A curling corner wasn't dealt with well enough by Benevento, allowing Skriniar to pop up at the far post and nod the ball into the back of the net.
Vecino's bouncing cross into the penalty area was a good one but really should have been dealt with by the visitors' back line. Letizia was particularly poor, while Del Pinto lost Skriniar as he darted towards goal.
65'
Y. Karamoh enters the game and replaces Rafinha.
Inter have made their first alteration of the game, with Karamoh coming on to replace Rafinha.
64'
There's a brief break in play after Sandro goes down off the ball. The midfielder looked to be struggling with some sort of injury in the first half, and it seems as if he's finally going to have to make way now.
63'
After receiving a huge let off, Inter burst forward on a counter-attack of their own. Eder bursts through the visitors' back line and takes on Puggioni with a chipped shot from the edge of the box, but it's one that lands on the roof of the net after beating the goalkeeper.
62'
Cataldi goes down inside the penalty area, but nothing is given! Brignola does brilliantly once again as he storms down the right wing and cuts into the box. He then tees up Cataldi, who seems to be tripped over by Ranocchia but doesn't win his side a penalty.
61'
Perisic, who has been very quiet this evening, cuts onto his right foot over on the left flank and swings a decent cross over to the far post. Eder, who has also found it difficult to get involved, rises high and tries to meet the ball, but he's unable to do so and Benevento easily hold on.
59'
A. Ranocchia gets yellow.
Inter cause problems for themselves as they give away the ball from a throw-in. Ranocchia then dives into Coda and catches the striker with a poor sliding challenge, leaving the referee with no choice but to book the defender.
58'
Huge chance for Coda to open the scoring! Brignola cuts inside on the halfway line and immediately fires a brilliant pass through the hosts' back line and towards Coda. The striker rushes into the box and shoots, but he puts slightly too much power behind his strike and sends it a few yards over the crossbar.
56'
A. Candreva gets yellow.
Candreva clumsily loses the ball out wide, and Letizia quickly tries to kick-start a Benevento counter-attack. He's immediately clipped from behin by the Inter winger, though, and the referee ends up reaching for the yellow card for the first time tonight.
54'
Inter patiently pass the ball around deep inside the Benevento half of the pitch before Joao Cancelo tries to cross, but he loses out to Letizia and sends a deflected pass back to Vecino. The Uruguayan immediately shoots, and his thumping strike is unconvincingly punched behind by Puggioni.
52'
Candreva twists and turns over on the right wing as Inter come forward once again, but he can't find a way into the box and has to work the ball back to Vecino. The midfielder then tries to tee up Joao Cancelo, but his pass is overhit and rolls behind for a goal-kick.
50'
Candreva storms into the right-hand side of the Benevento box and tries to latch onto a lofted pass, but he can't quit manage to do so and Puggioni rushes out to deal with the danger.
48'
A lovely diagonal pass from Viola flies straight over to Brignola, who then cuts inside and knocks the ball back to Sandro. The midfielder quickly shoots from 20 yards out, but his strike is overhit and sails high over the crossbar.
46'
D. Cataldi enters the game and replaces F. Đuričić.
Benevento have made one change during the break, with Cataldi coming on to replace Djuricic.
We're underway once again!
45'
An attempted Inter attacking move comes to nothing and Benevento try to counter-attack once again, but Coda can't quite make his way down the left flank and is dispossessed by a decent tackle from Skriniar.
44'
Candreva rushes into the penalty area and tries to latch onto a clever chipped pass from Joao Cancelo, but it's nodded behind by Djimsiti. A corner is initially awarded to the home side but the winger was in an offside position and the decision is eventually overturned.
42'
Skriniar pushes towards the halfway line and tries to pick out Perisic with a lofted pass down the left wing, but it's completely overhit by the centre-back and bounces harmlessly out of play for a throw-in. That rather sums up Inter's performance so far.
41'
Rafinha is clumsily tripped over from behind by Viola, and Inter are awarded a free-kick in a really promising position 30 yards away from goal. It's Eder who strikes the ball, but Sagna rushes out to easily block the shot.
39'
Perisic knocks the ball over Sagna and towards D'Ambrosio, who can't quite cross to a team-mate but instead wins his side a corner. The set-piece is poorly executed, though, as it curls straight into the hands of Puggioni in the middle of the goal.
38'
Brignola really has impressed with his pace and trickery inside the final third of the pitch. Once again he's able to dart through the Inter back line before firing a pass cross the face of goal, but it's sent slightly too near to Handanovic and is comfortably collected at the near post.
36'
The Benevento back line drop off and allow Candreva to set up Joao Cancelo deep down the right flank. The Portuguese's cross into the box is a good one and almost picks out a team-mate, but Tosca is there to nod it away from danger at the vital moment.
34'
Inter clumsily lose possession once again, allowing Guilherme to fly towards the hosts' penalty area on another wonderful run. He then works the ball over to Coda, who shoots but gets his strike all wrong and sends it high over the top of the crossbar.
33'
Sandro goes down inside the box, but nothing is given! Guilherme, who has arguably been one of Benevento's best performers so far, breaks through the middle of the pitch and pokes a lovely pass into the penalty area. Sandro runs onto it and tries to shoot, but he goes down under a tackle from Perisic before he's able to do so. There are some half-hearted pleas for a penalty, but the referee waves them away and awards a goal-kick to the home side.
32'
Joao Cancelo receives the ball over on the right wing and quickly whips a cross into the heart of the penalty area, where it picks out Vecino. The Uruguayan immediately nods the ball over to Eder, but the striker is in an offside position and the linesman's flag is swiftly raised.
30'
Djuricic is caught late by Gabbiadini, resulting in a free-kick for the visitors in a promising position 25 yards away from goal. It's Letizia who steps up and shoots, but his strike is poor and flies straight into the wall of Inter players.
28'
Great chance for Coda! Djuricic wins the ball for Benevento out wide and the visitors quickly fly forward. Coda does really well to break into the box and round Skriniar before shooting, but Handanovic is there to push the strike away from danger.
26'
An unforced error from Vecino presents Benevento with yet another opportunity to counter-attack quickly, but this time Coda isn't able to find a way into the box due to a good tackle from Skriniar, who then powers forward over on the right wing.
25'
Guilherme is left in a pocket of space midway inside the hosts' half of the pitch, allowing him to spin and send a clever through-ball into the penalty area. It looks set to meet Coda but D'Ambrosio is there to make sure it can't.
23'
After successfully clearing the ball, Benevento burst forward on a promising counter-attack. Brignola gets himself into a great position on the edge of the box and shoots, but his low strike is easily blocked. He had Coda to his right and really should have teed up the striker.
22'
A lofted pass is fired up the pitch by Ranocchia and almost picks out Perisic, but Sagna is there to nod the ball behind for a corner. Joao Cancelo curls his cross towards the near post, but Benevento are easily able to deal with the danger.
20'
It's been a difficult opening 20 minutes for Inter, who are struggling to string together a decent series of passes as they fail to find a way through the sea of white shirts camped in front of them. Benevento are starting well and, at the moment, look the more confident of the two teams.
18'
Guilherme is bundled over by Perisic as they battle for the ball inside the Inter half of the pitch, and Benevento are awaded a free-kick. It's sent short and worked towards the box, but they're unable to do much with the ball and have to retreat back to their own penalty area.
16'
Better from Inter! The home side work the ball out wide, where Joao Cancelo is in space and can curl a cross over to the far post. It's well hit by the Portuguese and finds Perisic, who gets a head on the ball but sends his headed effort a few yards wide of the goal.
14'
Once again a cross is fired into the visitors' box as Inter try to carve out a first opportunity on goal, but this time it's D'Ambrosio who sends a poor ball straight into the hands of Puggioni. That was far too easy for the Benevento goalkeeper.
12'
Poor from Candreva! Vecino and Eder pull off a quick one-two just outside of the Benevento penalty area before Candreva is set up over on the right flank. He quickly tries to pick out Eder with a chipped cross, but it's woefully hit and sails behind for a goal-kick.
11'
Inter clumsily lose the ball over on the right wing, and once again Benevento hit them on a quick counter-attack. Guilherme twists and turns deep down the flank before whipping a cross into the penalty area, where there are no white shirts to meet the Brazilian's impressive ball.
9'
What a tackle by Letizia! A beautiful lofted pass from Vecino flies over the top of the Benevento back line and picks out Candreva, who looks set to shoot but is dispossessed brilliantly by Letizia before he's able to pull the trigger.
7'
The resulting set-piece isn't dealt with fully by Handanovic, who unconvincingly punches the ball straight to a white shirt. A second cross is then fired into the box, but that one is comfortably collected by the Inter goalkeeper.
6'
An attempted Inter attacking move breaks down and Benevento quickly counter-attack through the middle of the pitch. Coda charges into the box and takes on Ranocchia, who doesn't look comfortable trying to deal with the striker and has to poke the ball behind for a corner.
4'
Guilherme and Sagna link up well out wide, setting up the former Manchester City full-back to chip a delightful cross into the box. It can't quite pick out a team-mate but the ball is quickly whipped back into the penalty area, where Brignola brings it down and shoots before being flagged offside.
3'
After a patient start to the game from the home side, D'Ambrosio is able to find some space over on the left wing and quickly pokes a pass into the path of Perisic on the edge of the penalty area. The Croatian can't quite meet it, though, as Djimsiti is there to deal with the danger.

We're off! Inter get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Serie A game between Inter and Benevento at San Siro.
There may be a whopping 38 points separating the two teams but it’s arguably bottom side Benevento who head into tonight’s clash feeling most confident about their chances of winning. The Stregoni have struggled all season and are almost certain to drop back down to Serie B but, with six points in 2018, none of the other bottom six sides have a better record since the start of the year.
Amazingly, a horrendously out-of-form Inter have only picked up one more point than their opponents during that time, and a failure to leave with a victory this evening would be a disaster for a side that are desperate fighting for a place in next season’s Champions League. The Nerazzurri finally brought an end to a worrying winless run by beating Bologna 2-1 two weeks ago, only to follow it up with a 2-0 defeat away to Genoa.
It’s safe to say that Luciano Spalletti’s men are still firmly in a crisis. The win against Bologna is the only one they’ve enjoyed in the league since thrashing Chievo at the start of December, and it’s resulted in them dropping below Lazio and into fifth place. A win for the Biancocelesti tomorrow coupled with an Inter defeat would leave the latter four points behind, severely denting their chances of qualifying for Europe’s premier competition.
Safety is still a long way off for Benevento but they will have gained a lot of confidence and belief by beating fellow relegation candidates Crotone last weekend. Serie A’s bottom side came from behind and scored late on to pick up only their third victory of the campaign, moving them six points behind nearest rivals Hellas Verona. They’re yet to win a single point on the road, however, but with Inter struggling so badly, that run could come to an end this evening.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up tonight…
Benevento XI (4-2-3-1): Christian Puggioni; Bacary Sagna, Berat Djimsiti, Alin Tosca, Gaetano Letizia; Sandro, Nicolas Viola; Enrico Brignola, Filip Djuricic, Guilherme; Massimo Coda.
Inter substitutes: Lisandro Lopez, Mauro Icardi, Yann Karamoh, Borja Valero, Davide Santon, Joao Miranda, Daniele Padelli, Dalbert Henrique, Marcelo Brozovic, Marco Pissardo, Andrea Pinamonti.
Inter XI (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic; Joao Cancelo, Andrea Ranocchia, Milan Skriniar, Danilo D’Ambrosio; Matias Vecino, Roberto Gagliardini; Antonio Candreva, Rafinha, Ivan Perisic; Eder.
Benevento substitutes: Lorenzo Del Pinto, Danilo Cataldi, Bright Gyamfi, Ledian Memushaj, Andrea Costa, Alberto Brignoli, Lorenzo Venuti, Cheick Diabate, Vittorio Parigini, Jean-Claude Billong, Pietro Iemmello, Cristiano Lombardi.
Luciano Spalletti has decided to make two changes to the Inter side that lost against Genoa last weekend, with Perisic and Rafinha coming into the starting line-up to replace Karamoh and Valero, respectively. Star striker Icardi is back in the matchday squad but is only fit enough for the substitutes’ bench.
Meanwhile, Benevento boss Roberto De Zerbi has also made two alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with the most notable inclusion being former Arsenal and Manchester City full-back Sagna, who is set to make his first start for the club in place of Venuti. Meanwhile, Parigini has made way for Guilherme, who missed out last weekend.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: INTER 0-0 BENEVENTO
Boos and jeers ring around San Siro as the two sides make their way off the pitch, and it's no wonder why. Inter have been really poor so far, and they head into the half-time break with Benevento looking the more likely to open the scoring. Serie A's bottom side have played with confidence and speed, and on a few occasions they've caused some real problems for the Nerazzurri back line.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half.
FULL-TIME: INTER 2-0 BENEVENTO
Inter were far from their best this evening and struggled in forward areas for most of the game, but they're nonetheless able to leave with three much-needed points. They took advantage of poor defending by Benevento to head in from two separate set-pieces, sending them back up to third place ahead of tomorrow's games involving Lazio and Roma.
