There will be three minutes added on at the end of this match.
89'
These last 10 minutes have been nothing more than a formality. Liverpool continue to keep possession just inside the attacking half, with little intent or need to push forward.
87'
Alberto Moreno enters the game and replaces S. Mané.
D. Solanke enters the game and replaces Mohamed Salah.
Mane gives way for Alberto Moreno.
Liverpool use up their final two changes as well here. Dominic Solanke comes on for Salah.
85'
STAT: David Moyes has never won against Liverpool at Anfield in all competitions as a manager (D7 L7), failing to win with Everton, Man Utd and Sunderland.
83'
J. Hernández enters the game and replaces M. Arnautović.
D. Rice enters the game and replaces João Mário.
West Ham with a double switch here, their final two substitutions of the afternoon, the first of which sees Javier Hernandez replace Arnautovic.
Joao Mario also gives way, replaced by Declan Rice.
82'
A. Lallana enters the game and replaces Roberto Firmino.
Roberto Firmino goes off to a standing ovation from the Anfield faithful as he's replaced by Adam Lallana.
81'
West Ham are looking ahead to Swansea now. They don't have any intensity off the ball, looking content with letting Liverpool pass it around inside the halfway line. This win will take Liverpool into second place in the Premier League temporarily, with Manchester United in action tomorrow.
79'
Mane threatens to bag a brace in under two minutes as he does everything right to twist and turn into space just outside the penalty area, but he drags his left-footed effort wide of the far post!
77'
S. Mané has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by A. Robertson.
LIVERPOOL HAVE THEIR FOURTH! It's been coming, and that's three points in the bag for the Reds who are over the finish line. Robertson provides another terrific assist to tee up Mane in the centre, who produces a lovely chipped finish off the post and in.
Robertson has deserved an assist tonight and he has one here.
Minute
Description
76'
West Ham are showing no signs of life in attack, largely due to the fact that they can't get hold of the ball. Liverpool are doing so well to keep possession, and have been equally successful winning it back when West Ham do get onto the ball.
74'
STAT: David Moyes has collected 21 points in 16 Premier League games as West Ham manager this season (W5 D6 L5), just three points shy of the tally he managed last season for Sunderland (24).
72'
OFF THE POST! So nearly four for Liverpool! Oxlade-Chamberlain has been taking this match over in midfield, and he produces a lovely little ball through here for Mane, played onside by Cresswell, but the winger smacks the woodwork as he pokes an effort beyond Adrian!
70'
Liverpool adopting a more patient approach in possession as they aim to suck the life out of this match and dash any hopes West Ham have of a comeback. This is some lovely passing from the hosts as they park themselves inside the attacking half.
68'
Lovely hit from Oxlade-Chamberlain, who's afforded far too much space as he unloads a venomous strike from 25 yards to force Adrian into a smart save. Liverpool are showing every sign that they have a fourth in them.
66'
As cliche as it is, the next goal in this match is crucial. West Ham would create quite a tense finish should they be able to halve this deficit, while a fourth for Liverpool would surely settle things.
64'
STAT: Michail Antonio has now scored in four of his five appearances in all competitions against Liverpool for West Ham, including in all three of his games in the Premier League.
62'
Liverpool pressing again! Adrian makes a smart save to thwart Firmino at the near post, before a strong defensive header denies Salah from getting on the end of Firmino's follow-up cross.
61'
STRAIGHT AT ADRIAN! Oxlade-Chamberlain makes a lovely run down the right and picks out an admirable pull-back for Salah, but his first-time effort is hit straight into the waiting arms of Adrian!
59'
M. Antonio has scored a goal for West Ham United! Assist by C. Kouyaté.
Kouyate provides the assist.
WHAT AN IMPACT! Antonio has been on for less than a minute, and he's got West Ham on the board! A composed finish beats Karius at his far post, on the end of a shrewd assist from Kouyate!
58'
M. Antonio enters the game and replaces M. Lanzini.
Moyes taking no chances with Lanzini back today after a month out with a hamstring injury. He's withdrawn here shy of an hour, with Michail Antonio taking his place.
57'
Roberto Firmino has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by E. Can.
LIVERPOOL IN CRUISE CONTROL! Three to the good and we have yet to reach the hour-mark at Anfield! Can sends a delicious ball over the top, Firmino pokes it beyond Adrian who came well off his line to try and put in a tackle, and the striker is able to roll a finish into the vacant goal.
Can turns scorer to provider, as he's credited with the assist for that lovely ball over the top.
55'
West Ham have a mountain to climb now if they are to head back to London with a point to show for their efforts. Javier Hernandez is warming up for them, but Oxlade-Chamberlain nearly makes it three as he sends a strike into the side-netting on the end of a delightful throughball from Alexander-Arnold.
53'
STAT: That strike was Mohamed Salah's 20th left-footed goal of the season, a new Premier League record as he surpasses Robbie Fowler.
51'
Mohamed Salah has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by A. Oxlade-Chamberlain.
THAT WILL DO JUST FINE FOR LIVERPOOL! Mohamed Salah has his 23rd Premier League goal of the season as he pulls level with Harry Kane atop the scoring charts with a terrific finish in at the far post, through the legs of Cresswell!
Oxlade-Chamberlain provides the assist with a lovely ball into the path of Salah as he was falling to ground.
49'
Liverpool camped out again in attack, pushing for the second goal that would give them a bit of breathing room. Moyes has his subs warming up now. It will be very interesting to see what sort of switch he will make first.
47'
C. Kouyaté gets yellow.
Kouyate picks up an early yellow, less than two minutes into the second half. That's the second for West Ham as Moyes now has some decisions to make going forward.
46'
Back underway at Anfield!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: LIVERPOOL 1-0 WEST HAM.
45'
There will be two minutes added on at the end of this first half. Milner has just picked up a knock for Liverpool as he makes his way over to the touchline. We will see if he can continue following the break.
43'
J. Collins gets yellow.
Collins with a cynical challenge to halt a Liverpool break, and that will see the first yellow produced in this match, given to the West Ham centre-half.
41'
STAT: West Ham are unbeaten in their last three away games in all competitions at Liverpool, drawing the last two (W1 D2). Prior to their win in August 2015, the Hammers had gone 45 matches without a win at Anfield (D12 L33).
39'
Not enough can be said about the high level these Liverpool full-backs are performing at. Their intensity in defence, penchant to attack and the quality of their deliveries have all been top notch.
37'
Mane seems to be caught by surprise as Alexander-Arnold whips in a stunning delivery towards the far post! It's almost as if Mane wasn't expecting the full-back to be able to get that into the danger area, as another chance goes begging here for Liverpool.
35'
This is just like Liverpool. They look hungrier for goals after scoring - like a shark who smells blood. There's very little time passing between chances, and you have to wonder if the floodgates might open should they find a second before the break.
33'
JUST OVER! A rare sight of goal spurned by Salah, as he heads over at the far post on the end of an absolutely sensational delivery from Robertson! Crosses don't get much more inviting than that!
31'
STAT: That goal was Liverpool's 100th this season across all competitions - their 62nd in the Premier League.
29'
E. Can has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by Mohamed Salah.
Salah provides the assist as it was his delivery from the corner that teed up Can.
LIVERPOOL SNATCH THE LEAD! It's some poor marking from a corner that proves the downfall for West Ham, with Emre Can jumping over debutante Patrice Evra to not home at the far post!
27'
Everyone is doing their part in defence for West Ham, Noble the latest to track back and put in an important tackle to force a corner. That's the sort of afternoon it's going to be for the Hammers - they will need to remain sharp and attentive at the back.
25'
That's excellent from Zabaleta! Milner wins the ball in his own half and quickly looks to spring Mane. The forward gets onto the end of it and tries to nod the ball forward with his head, but Zabaleta shows he still has some pace in his legs as he gets across to snuff it out.
23'
Liverpool are moving the ball around nicely, and the runs of their three forwards off the ball are proving a handful for the West Ham defence to try and pick up. The Reds just need to adopt a little more pace into their approach, though the patience they're showing is understandable given the bodies West Ham have back.
21'
The tempo has slowed a bit following an incredibly lively opening 15 minutes. West Ham have done better to organise themselves off the ball, and are making Liverpool work harder to get into the final third.
19'
STAT: Under Moyes, Marko Arnautovic has had a hand in 10 Premier League goals (7 goals, 3 assists), more than any other Hammers player since the Scot’s first match in November.
17'
Well this has been an excellent response from West Ham to Liverpool's early dominance, and it will certainly please David Moyes. That being said, Liverpool will likely have the bulk of the chances in this match, so Arnautovic coming so close to stealing them the lead will have to sting a bit.
15'
HOW CLOSE WAS THAT?! West Ham respond with a chance of their own off the woodwork! It looked a very difficult chance for Arnautovic, who was running to the outside when he chipped a stunning effort at goal, which Karius just manages to get his fingertips to, turning it off the underside of the bar!
13'
West Ham enjoy their first foray into attack, but Robertson does an absolutely terrific job in defence to squeeze Zabaleta out on the flank and win his side a goal-kick. The way the visitors are lined up, they are going to likely have the majority of their success attacking out wide, hoping to send some inviting crosses in for Arnautovic.
11'
Liverpool at 81 per cent possession through just over 10 minutes, and they're a bit unlucky not to have a goal to show for it. David Moyes won't care how much of the ball his side see as long as they can steal a result, but they will have to tighten things up for that to happen.
9'
STAT: Liverpool have won their last two Premier League matches against West Ham, 4-0 in May 2017 and 4-1 in November 2017 – they haven’t scored 4+ goals in three consecutive PL games versus a single opponent since doing so versus Norwich between 2012 and 2013.
7'
Liverpool at their best here with an incisive, free-flowing move. Mane plays Alexander-Arnold through, but the full-back's cross for Firmino is cleared smartly behind by Collins at the near post. The ensuing corner is met by Van Dijk, who heads straight at Adrian.
5'
All Liverpool early on here, as they camp out in the attacking half, enjoying the majority of possession. Marko Arnautovic is incredibly isolated up top for West Ham, having few options to pass off to, which is helping Liverpool keep the visitors hemmed back.
3'
ALMOST THE PERFECT START! Firmino is sprung into space down the left and pulls it back admirably for Salah, who produces a delightful first touch to tee himself up for the shot, but Adrian gets just enough of a touch to turn it onto the post before it's scrambled behind for a corner!
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! West Ham get us underway in their changed light-blue strip, attacking the Kop End. Liverpool are in all red.
Hello and welcome to Anfield for live coverage as Liverpool host West Ham, with the Premier League back in action following last weekend’s break for the FA Cup!
Every point is crucial with things so tight near the top of the Premier League table, and matches like this have to be considered must-win for clubs in the race for the top four – Liverpool currently sitting third, just two points up on Tottenham in fifth.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have had a welcome 10-day break, having not played since their 5-0 demolition of Porto in the Champions League on the 14th – and they are looking to make it successive Premier League victories for the first time since mid-January.
West Ham are in a similar situation at the other end of the table. They’re sitting all the way up in 12th, but there’s just four points between them and the drop, as every result sees them put under the microscope.
Victory for David Moyes’ side can lift them as high as the top half of the table, while defeat could conceivably drop them as low as 16th. It will be tough for them tonight, and their focus might just be on a huge six-pointer coming up next weekend in Swansea.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
LIVERPOOL (4-3-3): Karius; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Can, Milner; Salah, Mane, Firmino.
Jurgen Klopp makes just one change from the victory over Southampton a fortnight ago, as James Milner comes into midfield to replace Georginio Wijnaldum, who misses out through illness.
David Moyes makes a pair of changes from the win over Watford. Patrice Evra comes in to form a five-man defence, making his West Ham debut this afternoon, while Manuel Lanzini is also restored as he returns from a hamstring problem. Michail Antonio and Javier Hernandez drop to the bench to make way.
Emre Can heads in Liverpool's 100th goal of the season as the Reds head into the interval with a deserved lead at Anfield. Both teams have hit the woodwork, Mohamed Salah for Liverpool and Marko Arnautovic for West Ham, but it's Can's tally which separates the sides through 45 minutes.
Emre Can opened the scoring before Liverpool's formidable attacking trio all got in amongst the goals, as the Reds cruise to three points at Anfield to move into second place, at least for the time being. That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
