Srna wins a freekick, again in his favoured position. The delivery fails to beat the first man and Srna tries to get it back in the box but fails to do so. It's 30-yards from goal...but Aspas drives it into the middle of the area and no-one is waiting.

Celta's eight corner is swiftly put for another by Srna. Shakhtar then waste no time in clearing the ball as far they could before Guidetti unleashes a shot across the face of goal, it looked like it was going in and if Rossi was able to get his head in, that would have been the leveler without a doubt. 68'
Taison goes on another brilliant solo run and goes it alone into the box before picking out Marlos who fires a shot straight at goal which Alvarez does well to put out for a corner. He is continuing to act as the driving force for the Miners and has caused the Spaniards problems all night long.
66'
Marlos goes on a brilliant solo run into the area and has blue shirts falling at his feet but he eventually stumbles at the final hurdle and fails to execute his shot. At the other end of the field, Aspas' shot from outside the area is easily dealt with Pyatov. It's been a dramatic past few minutes here in Ukraine and just as Shakhtar looked like they were beginning to dominate, Celta have again showed us they possess some fierce attacking prowess. Is it fierce enough to pull a goal back, though?
63'

62'
CLOSE! This time it's Celta who go close! Aspas has the Shakhtar defence falling too pieces but the Spaniard took far too long to shoot and when he eventually did, it was straight at Pyatov though the keeper parried it but Guidetti was unable to guide his header goalwards. An amazing moment for Celta but just not amazing enough. The clearance from Shakhtar almost triggered a counter for the hosts but Celta were as defensively alert as they were attacking.
61'
CLOSE! It's the host's fourth chance in as many minutes as Blanco produces another diving header from a Srna cross. Though fortunately for Celta, Alavrez is able to smother the ball.
60'
OFFSIDE! Kovalenko has the ball in the net but the linesman has his flag up. Blanco is likely to be frustrated with the 21-year-old, he had things dealt with himself and was also in a brilliant position to score but Kovalenko was marginally offside.

Roncaglia is hauled off in favour of Jozabed Sánchez Ruiz.
57'
SAVE! What a save! Srna does fantastically well to beat Sisto to a cross and Blanco meets the ball with a wonderful diving header that looks like it's goal bound but Alvarez produces another brilliant stop! Srna should never have been able to get on the end of the cross and the keeper did well to spare his teammate's blushes.
56'
Kovalenko hesitates with a shot before giving it Fred who unleashes a fierce attempt, it's a golden chance for the hosts but another brilliant stop from Alvarez. A huge let off for the visitors, the keeper didn't know too much about the save and the shot ricocheted off his knee. If Celta do concede, a two goal deficit will be a huge mountain to climb.

48'
Taison receives the ball on the edge of the box and tries to go through the legs of the defender but Alvarez gathers the ball with ease. The opening minutes of the second-half have been pretty quiet and there isn't too much to talk about. Will Shakhtar be able to continue their impressive form or can Celta spring a comeback?
46'
The hosts get us underway for the remaining 45-minutes...can Celta save themselves?
44'
Guidetti creates another opening and it seems like the Swede is met with another brilliant opportunity before the offside flag stops him in his tracks. 43'
Guidetti and Aspas team up with a lovely one-two and it looks as if though the Spaniard may grab the opening goal but it's another great save from Pyatov at full stretch. A lovely move from Celta just as Shakhtar were looking to dominate. The Spaniards know that this tie is far from over, one goal and they're back in it, they certainly aren't leaving this competition without a fight.
40'
Shakhtar are looking to desperate to double their lead here tonight and the hosts are beginning to dominate. It's all Shakhtar now after a pretty even 35-minutes.
38'
Taison wins the freekick but despite it being in a goal scoring position, it causes no trouble for the visitors. Marlos has the ball and despite having three blue shirts around him, he manages to escape, the ball is eventually played to Taison who shows some incredible skill with a succession of kick-ups before he attempts to lob the keeper who is just able to tip the attempt over the bar. Mesmerizing stuff from the hosts, though the following corner fails to be as impressive and Celta are awarded a freekick as Malyshev is adjudged to have fouled Alvarez.
36'
G. Blanco Leschuk gets yellow.
Blanco is placed in the referee's book for waving his finger at the official.
34'
Celta win a freekick it a decent position but the Shakhtar defence deal with it with ease. Taison takes it down the wing and though Fred makes a brilliant bursting run, the pass is just out of reach for the Brazilian. It's more great work from Taison who always works tirelessly. The supporters are looking to create an atmosphere as they ramp up the noise and start a Mexican wave.
32'
In the middle of the area Fred tries to pick out a teammate but it's straight to a blue shirt and then to Aspas who's waiting in the area. His cross is across is the face of goal and Shakhtar are able to clear. Tonight's clash may be 0-0 as it stands but it's certainly been an edgy game so far.
29'
It's a brilliant pass from Fred who plays it to Kovalenko and all the youngster has to do is shoot but it's tremendous defending from Cabral who does brilliant to intercept before the youngster is able aim his shot. At the other end of the pitch it's another glorious opportunity for Celta but Aspas' shot from just outside the area is tipped around the post by Pyatov and the resulting corner fails to scare the hosts.

Both sides are proving sloppy in possession in parts. Shakhtar attempt a one-two but Srna is unaware of how much space he has and gives the ball away easily. Shortly after winning it back, Ismaily gives away possession in a dangerous position. Soon after Guidetti takes the ball from Rakitsky and is met with a glorious opportunity but it's a brilliant interception from the hosts. The best opportunity of the game so far.
21'
It's been a pretty even opening 20-minutes here in Ukraine, Celta may have more chances but Shakhtar have certainly had the better ones. The hosts were the only side in the Europa League to win all six of their group games and scored the most goals with a tally of 23, they've won all five of their home games in Europe this season with a total score of 15-0 and with their defensive resilience seen thus far tonight, it's easy to see why they are yet to concede.
18'
Aspas attempts a back heel on the edge of the box his efforts are fruitless and Shakhtar will happily deal with that all night long. Celta search for another way forward as Mallo attempts a cross into the area, though the attempt again is well cut out.
15'

The visitors take it forward on the counter and win a corner for their troubles. It's quickly away by the hosts, however, and though Marlos' pace initially looked to cause problems for Jonny, he composes himself and wins it back. The hosts quickly regain possession and seek a way forward again before winning a corner which Celta swiftly deal with.
13'

Iago Aspas is the first player to be cautioned tonight for his foul on Srna.
12'
The hosts lose possession on the attack but Tasion pulls it back and picks out Kovalenko who will struggle to find himself in a better goal scoring position all season. He's yards from the front of goal but his shot is straight at Alvarez who makes a meal out of the save and Kovalenko then fails to connect with the rebound with any real conviction. Taison's pull back looked as if it may be the opening for the hosts but Kovalenko just wasn't clinical enough.
9'
Srna wins a freekick on the right wing and Blanco is waiting but the forward slips and misses his opportunity. Marlos makes a bursting run down the wing before giving it to Srna but his cross fails to meet a teammate and the visitors are able to breathe a sigh of relief. Both sides have showed good attacking movement in the opening stages of the clash.
6'
Ismaily and Taison combine again but this time it's to keep Guidetti out. Shakhtar momentarily win possession before the visitors manage to retain it. Guidetti picks out Aspas who attempts a curling shot which looks as though it's heading for the top left corner but unfortunately for the Spaniard, there was not enough curl. It was a positive move from Celta who very nearly managed to cancel out that 1-0 aggregate lead early in the game.
3'
Rakitsky searches for a way forward for Celta are well alert and the hosts take a moment to pass the ball around their own half. Pyatov receives the ball and hooves up field for Blanco before it's quickly headed away. We're underway here in Ukraine...
Shakhtar Donetsk head into tonight’s game 1-0 up on aggregate and that away goal may just prove a huge advantage. The Miners overcome Celta Vigo in last week’s tie with a single first-half goal from Gustavo Blanco enough to secure those all important three points. It was a great way for Blanco to mark his debut and the Argentinian will look to take confidence from that into tonight’s game. The top Ukrainian side are on a winning run of 13 games so Celta will certainly have their work cut out.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Shakhtar Donetsk v Celta Vigo.
Despite the host’s impressive form, few people will be writing Celta Vigo off just yet. In the home tie, they had the bulk of the chances including a golden opportunity for John Gudietti, though unfortunately for the Swede and his teammates, none of those chances managed to hit the back of the net. Still, they showed they were able to get past Shakhtar players and create, something which will be vital tonight. Celta will buoyed by their 3-0 rout over Osasuna at the weekend with two goals in the last three minutes suggesting that Eduardo Berizzo’s do men possess a ruthless streak. And after knocking out Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey, there’s no arguing over whether the Spaniards take cup competitions seriously.
Paulo Fonseca makes just one change from the Shakhtar side that overcome Celta in their last run out as Viktor Kovalenko replaces Dentinho. The 21-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool and has eight goals and two assists to his name this season. It’s an unfortunate situation for Dentinho with rumours suggesting that the Brazilian faces up to two-months on the sidelines.
Celta, on the other hand, have made a host of changes to the starting eleven that hammered Osasuna as they look for a way to salvage the tie. John Guidetti is one noticeable change, the Swede is a huge player for Celta and has seven goals and three assists for the Spanish side this term, he missed Celta’s last game to injury but is fit enough to start tonight. Berizzo has placed a lot of emphasis on attack tonight as he lines up in a 4-3-3 formation, it’s vital Celta get that away goal if they are to qualify.
The two sides head into the break with the score line at 0-0. Both sides have had a host of chances, Taison is the engine for the hosts and has been involved in a number of Shakhtar attacks, linking up well with Fred. His foot juggling was worthy of a goal but it was a great save from Alvarez who did well to tip it over the bar. The hosts are currently on a run of 13 consecutive winning games and will do everything in their power to extend that run to 14 tonight.
Just as it was looking like Shakhtar were beginning to dominate, Guidetti came up with a number of brilliant attacking moves for the visitors. His lovely one-two with Aspas was their best moment of the game and Aspas forced Pyatov into a tricky save. The Spaniards are far from out of the competition just yet and Shakhtar will certainly have their work cut out to prevent them from getting that all important away goal.
What drama! Celta were able to snatch a lifeline in the dying moments of the game and nobody can say the Spaniards don't deserve it. The visitors have fought tirelessly for that equaliser throughout the game and did tremendously well to withstand Shakhtar's numerous attacks before going on to dominate the game. Having failed to execute chance after chance it looked as though this may not be Celta's night but when given the opportunity, Aspas made no mistake from the 12-yard spot.
Paulo Fonseca is furious with the referee and is adamant that Celta's penalty was not the correct decision. His men were marginally the better side in the first-half and the opening stages of the second but then struggled to contain Celta's successive attacks. Having already took off Tasion who is the catalyst for most of Shakhtar's attacking movements, and their top scorer in this competition, can they find a way to regain the lead?
It's still 1-1 on aggregate here in half-time of extra time as Celta lead 1-0 on the night. There's few talking points from the previous 15-minutes. The hosts have enjoyed the better chances but have failed to put any away whilst Celta have been too wasteful in front of goal.
Celta players and coaches are clearly very tired but that won't stop them from celebrating. Their never say die attitude got them over the line and thanks to their resilience and constant attacking, they are through to the last-16 of the Europa League. It's their first stint in the competition for a decade and their celebrations are a pleasure to see, the Spaniards delivered a fantastic showing against a strong Shakhtar side.
Shakhtar will feel hard done by and will question some of the refereeing decisions. The Ukrainian giants were just minutes from reaching the last-16 but that Aspas penalty killed their European dreams. It's their first defeat since August and brings their run of 26 games without a defeat to an end. How will Fonseca and his men react to such heartbreak?
