And, sure enough, Besiktas have restored their lead.
There will be two added minutes here.
90'
Leipzig have equalised against Besiktas, but it matters little to Porto, whose dominance made that result an irrelevance long before half-time.
88'
Tiquinho Soares has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by Ricardo Pereira.
Ricardo Pereira delivered a magnificent cross for Tiquinho Soares to turn his effort on target. The right back has enjoyed a fine game.
GOAL! It's five! Party mode for Porto! Tiquinho Soares adds his name to the scoresheet with an outstanding header into the top-right corner. 5-2.
87'
That could have been a third for the visitors, though! Falcao is so close to reaching Joao Moutinho's free-kick after Kevin N'Doram's flick-on. The set-piece draws applause from Jardim.
85'
The set-piece is worked short and then cleared. But Porto instantly win the ball back. This must be quite painful to watch from a Monaco perspective.
84'
Kongolo blocks a cross on the Porto right and the hosts have a corner...
Herrera dances through challenges in the midfield. A shot from Tiquinho Soares is blocked, but Porto simply move the ball backwards and start again.
83'
Again the goal has not dampened Porto spirits. They are cruising through to the last 16.
80'
Outstanding from Brahimi! Jose Sa flaps at a cross and Joao Moutinho looks set to shoot at an empty goal. But Brahimi is back there to bustle the Monaco man off the ball and sprint clear. What a performance.
78'
R. Falcao has scored a goal for Monaco! Assist by K. Baldé.
Keita put the ball on a plate for Falcao, curling in a lovely inswinging cross from the left.
GOAL! Falcao has his goal! A trademark header is greeted with applause from the Porto fans and Falcao returns the gesture. 4-2.
Minute
Description
76'
OVER! Jesus Corona is making progress on the right time and time again. He teases a pass into Brahimi's path and a curling effort does not quite drop under the crossbar with Benaglio beaten. Good effort.
75'
SUB! After a fantastic shift, Aboubakar is cheered from the pitch. Tiquinho Soares is his replacement.
74'
Tiquinho Soares enters the game and replaces V. Aboubakar.
OVER! For a player of Falcao's quality, that's a chance! He gets a clean connection on a header from the centre of the penalty area but his aim is high.
73'
Jose Sa just about deals with a deep Joao Moutinho cross and then gets his fingertips to a second delivery, too. Good goalkeeping.
72'
K. Baldé enters the game and replaces A. Diakhaby.
But Herrera opts to cross and, despite some generous defending, there is no way through for the hosts.
SAVE! That could have been the hat-trick. Aboubakar sends an acrobatic volley goalwards. Benaglio saves comfortably.
SUB! Diakhaby's race is run as Keita comes on for Monaco.
71'
Whistles as Joao Moutinho fells Herrera, giving Porto a presentable shooting chance...
70'
Porto are moving the ball around with such confidence now. Further chances will surely follow.
67'
J. Corona enters the game and replaces M. Marega.
SUB! And Porto, content with their lead again, make a first switch, too. Jesus Corona replaces Marega.
66'
R. Falcao enters the game and replaces G. Carrillo.
João Moutinho enters the game and replaces S. Meïté.
SUB! A warm welcome for Falcao! Off goes Carrillo.
SUB! Likewise, Joao Moutinho is welcomed in place of Meite.
65'
Alex Telles has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by Danilo Pereira.
It was Danilo Pereira who picked out Alex Telles in acres of space on the left. The defender still had a lot to do, though.
GOAL! It's a beauty from Alex Telles and Porto's three-goal lead is restored! The full back shoots across the goalkeeper from 25 yards, his shot clipping the foot of the right-hand post on its way in. 4-1.
63'
WIDE! What a tame effort from Meite. Around 30 yards from goal, he musters a timid shot that falls well wide. Jose Sa watches on contently.
62'
There is no disruption to Porto's play. Ricardo Pereira handily keeps possession on the right and the hosts continue to probe around the Monaco box.
61'
Penalty goal scored by K. Glik for Monaco!
GOAL! Glik scores! Hard and low, under Jose Sa, Monaco have a lifeline. 3-1.
60'
PENALTY! Marcano cannot believe it as he is penalised for handball. That looked very harsh indeed...
58'
SAVE! Jose Sa gathers a shot from distance. Powerful yet straight at him. Easy.
Brahimi is everywhere, now crossing to the right. Only Aboubakar's two-goal salvo will prevent the winger from himself grabbing the headlines.
56'
Monaco clear the consequent corner, but the counter fails again. And Porto can attack once more.
55'
BLOCK! Crucial from Terence Kongolo as Mariga looked destined to score! The Monaco defender was sleeping as Aboubakar nudged a left-wing cross on, but he dashes across to get in the way of the powerful drive.
54'
Rony Lopes is involved again, Meite looking to free the winger on the right. Marcano is across, though, and the Monaco man commits the foul.
52'
OVER! Accuracy is somewhat wanting in this second half. Rony Lopes sweeps a finish over the top with his left foot.
51'
AND AGAIN! Herrera then mirrors that effort at the other end. The Porto captain appears determined to have more of an impact in attack in the second half.
Brahimi is very unfortunate here. He dances down the left, beyond Toure and into the area, but Glik comes across to hammer the ball into the winger's shins and behind. Goal kick.
50'
OVER! Diakhaby still looks to be Monaco's greatest outlet, but it is his turn to shoot wildly off target from the edge of the area on the left.
49'
SAVE! Marega did not know a great deal about that one! Herrera pings a pass into his feet and the ball bounces on target, Benaglio scrambling across to make an ultimately comfortable stop.
48'
WILD! Monaco attempt to work an opening through Diakhaby's cross, but the ball breaks to Soualiho Meite, whose shot flies high and wide from 20 yards.
47'
There are loud cheers around the stadium as former Porto stars Joao Moutinho and Falcao come out to warm up for the visitors. They applaud in response.
46'
KICK-OFF: Away we go again. Porto captain Hector Herrera gets us restarted.
The first attempt is a false start, Herrera goes again. Porto look content with a three-goal lead, but they could further widen the margin if they fancy it. Monaco have had no answer for Aboubakar and Brahimi.
Sure enough, Herrera's next involvement is an attempted pass threaded through the Monaco back line. Ricardo Pereira cannot reach the ball, though.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: Porto 3 Monaco 0.
45'
Y. Brahimi has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by V. Aboubakar.
Aboubakar has been the star of the show, with this assist every bit as good as his two goals. The two red cards should not overshadow a brilliant performance.
GOAL! That should be that, even with 45 minutes remaining! Brahimi nets Porto's third! Aboubakar turns provider this time with a marvellous chipped through ball that the wide man directs beyond Benaglio. 3-0.
43'
SAVE! Rony Lopes has been very quiet for Monaco, but he tests Jose Sa with a drive from distance. The keeper parries away to his left.
42'
D. Reyes enters the game and replaces André André.
SUB! And Sergio Conceicao now acts to shore up his back line. Diego Reyes replaces Andre Andre.
The dismissal of a defender has not harmed Ricardo Pereira's ambition. He bursts forward and almost reaches a long pass into the Monaco penalty area.
40'
OVER! Monaco look to restore normality with an attack, but Carrillo's optimistic looping header drops over the crossbar.
38'
Felipe goes off after a red card!
R. Ghezzal goes off after a red card!
RED! A twist! Felipe drags Ghezzal to the ground and the Monaco man foolishly responds by putting his hands to the defender's face. Felipe reacts and does the same and a melee ensues. Referee Jonas Eriksson consults his linesman and pulls out a red card for Ghezzal...
RED! And then a red card for Felipe, too! Neither player can really have any complaints.
36'
Monaco enjoy a rare foray forward in response to that second goal, but Porto break again. Brahimi brings the ball clear. However, Porto repeatedly fail to pick out the lurking Aboubakar in the middle.
33'
V. Aboubakar has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by Danilo Pereira.
GOAL! It's two for Porto, it's two for Aboubakar! And this is another wonderful goal from the big forward. He takes the ball on the left side of the area, shimmies inside and shoots low under Benaglio. 2-0.
Danilo Pereira slipped the pass into Aboubakar at the end of a flowing move that deserved a goal. Brahimi moved the ball wide to Andre Andre, before a switch back inside went through the Algerian to Danilo Pereira.
31'
WIDE! The delivery is poor and Benaglio takes, but an awful volleyed clearance falls for Alex Telles on the left. The full back crosses and, with the defenders still forward, Ivan Marcano nods off target. Relief for the keeper.
30'
A slow move up the right - in which Andre Andre opted against playing the seemingly obvious killer pass - concludes with Mariga winning a corner for Porto.
28'
The pace of the game is just starting to slow a little. Aboubakar chooses to go backwards rather than to drive at the Monaco defence, with his team-mates then following suit in moving the ball sideways.
27'
When Monaco are able to move the ball around their back four, Glik hammers a pass straight through to Jose Sa. So wasteful and Jardim does not look best impressed.
25'
Monaco have energy to go forward, but they are struggling to keep possession. Porto all too easily win the ball back and then Aboubakar claims a free-kick for an aerial foul.
24'
Brilliant play from Porto and brilliant defending from Glik! Brahimi and Aboubakar combine, leading to the former dribbling into the area. Glik sublimely tackles.
23'
OVER! The consequent corner causes Benaglio little difficulty as Danilo Pereira nods over the top.
22'
SAVE! But Porto are quickly back on the attack! Danilo Pereira thunders an effort in front distance, but Benaglio turns the shot away.
Important interception from Felipe after Ricardo Pereira's sloppy pass. Diakhaby could have been in there...
20'
Monaco are working hard in the midfield and attack, but Porto look capable of tearing through the visiting defence every time they go forward. Jemerson snaps into a challenge this time, however, before a move at the other end is similarly cut short.
19'
CHEEKY! Easy again for Jose Sa, but you have to admire Kamil Glik's ambition! He looks to lob the wandering goalkeeper from the halfway line, instead sending an optimistic effort over the top.
18'
And now a corner at the other end! Diakhaby runs at Alex Telles and draws a challenge...
Jose Sa confidently takes the inswinging cross and holds onto the ball for a couple of seconds, looking to slow a fairly frantic pace. Porto do not need to go chasing a second.
17'
Again Monaco head the set-piece half clear and this time Rachid Ghezzal is on hand to smartly dribble to safety.
16'
Corner to Porto! Moussa Marega leads a speedy attack on the right and his attempted pass inside to strike partner Aboubakar is hacked behind.
15'
Porto are so comfortable, but a few nervy moments persist at the back. Carrillo is always on the move and the home defence need to be aware of that.
13'
More good news for Porto as Besiktas lead in Germany. The home side are set for a comfortable progression here.
12'
OVER! Twice since taking the lead Porto have attempted to attack on the right, before finally switching to the left for Alex Telles to cross and Aboubakar volleys over. There is great variety to the hosts' play.
10'
Don't forget; as long as Porto win, Leipzig's result at Besiktas cannot impact the Primeira Liga leaders. They are heading through as things stand.
9'
V. Aboubakar has scored a goal for Porto! Assist by Y. Brahimi.
And now the Monaco man commits a foul on Ricardo Pereira., conceding a free-kick around 25 yards from goal.
It was Brahimi who lifted the ball back into the box after the initial Monaco header, with Aboubakar one of two Porto players on the run.
GOAL! Porto lead! Outstanding forward play from Vincent Aboubakar. The free-kick is half-cleared, but the front man stays alert and dashes onto a second delivery to prod beyond Diego Benaglio. 1-0.
8'
After a short stoppage, Diakhaby is back on his feet.
7'
André André gets yellow.
YELLOW! Andre Andre attempts to claim he won the ball as he clatters into Diakhaby, but it was a clumsy challenge.
6'
Positive, crucial goalkeeping from Jose Sa! Guido Carrillo is harried as he takes the ball for the first time, but he moves play on quickly and Monaco attack on the left through Adama Diakhaby. The low, drilled cross is cut out by the keeper.
5'
It looks as though Porto will favour their left-hand side in attack, with Alex Telles pushing up to support Brahimi. Almamy Toure has so far dealt well with the pair.
4'
The stadium is by no means packed to the rafters, but the home fans are making good noise as their team continue to keep possession in the opening stages.
2'
Porto have settled quickly, with Yacine Brahimi attempting an early run down the left. He was halted, but the throw-in goes the hosts' way and they build again.
1'
KICK-OFF: The visitors get us under way, sporting their usual red and white shirts with change red shorts.
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary of the clash between Porto and Monaco on matchday six of the Champions League's group stage!
This is a fixture that means rather more to one team than the other, with the Portuguese hosts requiring a win to guarantee a last-16 place ahead of RB Leipzig, who face Besiktas today.
And it is also a meeting that Porto fans will have particularly fond memories of, having beaten Monaco in the 2003-04 final to become European champions for a second time.
Monaco have since come rather closer than their opponents to repeating the feat of reaching European football's showpiece match - falling at the last hurdle in the semi-finals in 2016-17 - but this has been a miserable Group G campaign for Leonardo Jardim's men.
The Ligue 1 champions are already out of Europe with a game remaining - the seven points of Porto and Leipzig to their two meaning even a Europa League place is beyond Monaco. Besiktas have top spot secured with 11 points.
Subs: Casillas, Maxi Pereira, Torres, Jesus Corona, Andre Andre, Reyes, Tiquinho Soares.
Porto (4-4-2): Jose Sa, Ricardo Pereira, Felipe, Marcano, Alex Telles, Otavio, Danilo Pereira, Herrera, Brahimi, Marega, Aboubakar.
So, ahead of a huge game for the home side, let's get the team news from Portugal...
Otavio comes in as Porto's only change from Friday's draw with Benfica, while Monaco, contrastingly and perhaps unsurprisingly, feature six changes. They ended a three-match losing run in all competitions against Angers at the weekend, but match-winner Radamel Falcao is among those to drop to the bench.
Porto coach Sergio Conceicao certainly has not played down the magnitude of this game. "To win, we will need the Porto of the last four months," he said. "We need a Porto that believes and looks to the game as our grand finale."
Meanwhile, Monaco's regression has been extraordinary this term. But Jardim defended results in his own pre-match news conference. The coach said: "Monaco are a different team today. Half of the players left - do the same thing at Real [Madrid] or Chelsea and the results will be different too."
Kick-off is now just five minutes away. The players will soon be making their way out onto the lush Estadio do Dragao pitch.
And here they come! We are merely an anthem away from the action.
Die meister, die besten, les grandes equipes, the champions...
A late change sees Otavio drop out of the Porto team and Andre Andre comes in. Miguel Layun is on the bench.
We'll have all the second half action shortly...
Well, it's been entertaining. Aboubakar has two, Brahimi has one and 10-man Porto are piling yet more misery on 10-man Monaco.
Here come the teams once more! Porto are just 45 minutes away from the simplest of progressions to the Champions League's knockout stages.
Porto are through to the last 16 of the Champions League!
Aboubakar's brace set Porto on their way, with red cards for either side unable to disrupt the hosts' momentum. The brilliant Brahimi got in on the act, too, and there was even time for Falcao to net for Monaco on his return to his former club in a goal frenzy.
That's all from this one. Thanks for joining us and, until next time, goodbye!
