Good play between Acquah and Belotti just outside of the hosts' penalty area results in the striker poking a pass into the path of Niang. The forward darts into the box before trying to cut a pass back to Icardi, but it's slightly underhit and can't quite reach the number nine.

He then unleashes a rocket of a shot from 25 yards out that comfortably beats Sirigu, but the strike smashes off the woodwork instead of finding the back of the net.
Acquah was guilty of diving into a late challenge in the build-up to Vecino's chance on goal, and he's shown a yellow card once the ball is eventually blasted out of play.
87'
Torino push forward once again and win themselves a free-kick midway inside the Inter half of the pitch. It's launched into the box by Rincon and picks out Ljajic, who does well to reach the ball but can only send his headed effort onto the roof of the net.

A low cross from Perisic looks set to find Icardi in front of goal, but a vital touch from Burdisso knocks the ball behind for a corner. Torino have made a third and final change, with Falque making way for M'Baye Niang.

He takes on N'Koulou on the edge of the Torino penalty area, but he can't quite get the better of the defender and has to settle for a corner. GOAL! Torino have taken the lead! Space opens up for Falque, allowing him to dart down the right wing before cutting inside. He heads along the edge of the box on a wonderful run as he evades two tackles, and he then fires a brilliant strike past the outstretched hands of Handanovic and into the bottom right-hand corner of the net.
It was De Silvestri who set up Falque after Torino broke quickly. The full-back has been pushing higher up the pitch since the break, and it's caused plenty of problems for the Inter back line.
58'
Icardi almost opens the scoring! A low cross in from the left wing picks out Valero, who, with his back to goal, immediately pokes a pass back to Icardi on the edge of the penalty area. The striker quickly shoots, but his effort ends up deflecting just a few inches wide of the far post.

42'
N. Burdisso gets yellow.
A well-placed lofted pass from Ljajic sails over to the right-hand side of the hosts' penalty area and picks out De Silvestri. The full-back then nods the ball into the heart of the box, but there's no one there to meet it and Vecino is able to set up a counter-attack. It quickly comes to an end, however, as Icardi is cynically dragged back by Burdisso.
40'
Inter continue putting plenty of pressure on the Torino back line as they pile plenty of bodies forwward, and they end up winning themselves a free-kick in a decent position. It's fired into the box by Candreva and picks out D'Ambrosio, but the defender can't keep his header down and sends it high over the crossbar.
38'

31'
A clever pass from Obi picks out Baselli, who is in a pocket of space on the edge of the hosts' box. The midfielder quickly spins and tees up Ljajic, whose low cross into the heart of the penalty area isn't a bad one but can't find Belotti.
29'
Rincon twists and turns over on the left-hand side of the Inter penalty area as he tries to whip a cross into the box. It initially looks as if he's managed to get the better of Skriniar after spinning round the centre-back, but he ends up running the ball out of play before he can set up a team-mate in front of goal.
27'
Almost another opportunity for Icardi! Nicolas N'Koulou clumsily loses possession on the halfway line, allowing Inter to fly forward on a great counter-attack. Vecino quickly tees up Icardi to storm into the box, but Ljajic does really well to sprint back and deny the captain a way through on goal.
25'
And now Gagliardini goes close! Torino aren't able to fully clear the danger, allowing the hosts to push forward once again. Gagliardini receives the ball in a pocket of space and quickly shoots from 25 yards out, but his thumping strike sails just a few yards over the top of the crossbar.
24'
Inches away from Icardi! More good play by Candreva sees him skip past Ansaldi before whipping another dangerous cross into the Torino penalty area. It looks set to find Icardi in front of goal, but the striker ends up missing the ball by the narrowest of margins. Any sort of contact surely would have resulted in the opening goal of the game!
23'
Great chance for Icardi to score! Candreva has been finding plenty of space over on the right wing whenever Inter break forward quickly. He cuts inside on a marauding run before cutting a clever pass back to Icardi, but the captain can't find the back of the net with his first-time shot and instead knocks a tame strike into the hands of Sirigu.
21'
Rincon certainly seems to have made a full recovery, as he's throwing himself around the pitch once again. This time he ends up giving away a free-kick in the middle of the pitch with a slightly mistimed challenge, but the home side can't make it count and end up conceding a free-kick of their own.
19'
Ouch! Rincon stretches as he tries to steal possession from Matias Vecino, and he ends up hyperextending his knee after missing the ball. It initially looks as if he's in a lot of pain and may have to make way, but he's eventually able to get back to his feet after receiving medical attention for a few moments.
17'
Ansaldi bursts down the left wing on another good run and wins his side a free-kick in a dangerous position out wide. Ljajic's cross into the box is poorly hit but bounces back out to Baselli, who tries to pick out Iago Falque on the edge of the penalty area but instead pokes the ball behind for a goal-kick.
16'
A deep cross from Nagatomo can't quite pick out Icardi in front of goal, but Candreva does well to keep the danger alive after getting the better of Ansaldi on the right-hand edge of the Torino box. The winger spins and sets up D'Ambrosio to shoot, but the full-back's ball into the penalty area is poorly hit and sails straight into the hands of Salvatore Sirigu.
14'
Decent chance for Baselli! Slightly sloppy play by Inter gifts possession back to their opponents once again. Ansaldi charges down the left flank before cutting a clever pass over to Baselli, who quickly shoots but can't get the better of Samir Handanovic with his first-time strike from the edge of the penalty area.
13'
Roberto Gagliardini accidentally catches Baselli with a slightly high foot, resulting in a free-kick for Torino in a promising position. Tomas Rincon's looping cross manages to pick out Nicolas Burdisso, but Inter are awarded a free-kick for pushing as soon as the defender reaches the ball.
11'
More good play by Torino sees Joel Obi pick up the ball in a pocket of space deep inside the hosts' half of the pitch. He then tries to pick out Ansaldi, who had made a clever run into the left-hand side of the box, but his pass is slightly overhit and rolls behind for a goal-kick.
9'
After a few minutes on the back foot, Torino are able to push forward on a decent attack down the left wing. Adem Ljajic cuts inside and chips a cross over to the far post, where Andrea Belotti rises high but can't get the better of Yuto Nagatomo. The ball is only cleared as far as Daniele Baselli, however, but the midfielder blasts his 20-yard volley high over the crossbar.
7'
Another well-placed cross-field pass flies deep into the Torino half of the pitch and picks out Candreva in a promising position. The winger initially loses out to Ansaldi before winning the ball back from Danilo D'Ambrosio, but his run into the penalty area is slightly mistimed and he's immediately flagged offside.
5'
Milan Skriniar charges into the Torino half of the pitch and launches a wonderful cross-field pass over to Ivan Perisic. The Croatian quickly cuts inside from the left wing before firing a dangerous pass across the face of goal, where it can't quite find Icardi and is cleared away by Cristian Ansaldi.
3'
After an even start to the game from both sides, it's Inter who push forward on the first decent attack of the contest. Space opens up for Antonio Candreva over on the right wing and allows him to dart into a promising position before whipping a low cross into the box, where it looks set to find Mauro Icardi but misses the striker by the narrowest of margins.

We're underway! Torino get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good morning and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Serie A game between Inter and Torino at San Siro.
So far it’s been a near-perfect season for Inter, who head into this morning’s clash in second place, just two points behind leaders Napoli with 11 games completed. The Nerazzurri are yet to taste defeat under new boss Luciano Spalletti, and while they may have faltered on a couple of occasions in recent weeks, they’ll be feeling confident about their chances of continuing that great run of form here today.
Only Bologna and Napoli have avoided losing against Inter this season, with the meeting against the latter side seeing the Partenopei fail to score in a Serie A game for the first time since February. It was an impressive defensive performance from a team that look revitalised under Spalletti, and a sixth victory in seven games is a real possibility if they’re at their best against their latest opponents.
For Torino, the opening part of the domestic campaign has been a rollercoaster ride, with a record of four wins, four draws and three losses leaving them in ninth place, 13 points behind Inter. They started the season with a five-game unbeaten run only to win just one of their next six outings, but they do head to San Siro on the back of a hard-fought, and much-needed, 2-1 victory at home to Cagliari.
Torino have really struggled defensively in recent weeks, resulting in them conceding 12 goals in just five games - a record almost as bad as that of bottom side Benevento. The win against Cagliari last weekend came thanks to a slight tactical shift, and it looks as if the Toro are going to set up in a similar way today as they try to head into the international break with another positive result under their belts.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up today…
Torino XI (4-3-3): Sirigu; De Silvestri, N’Koulou, Burdisso, Ansaldi; Obi, Rincon, Baselli; Falque, Belotti, Ljajic.
Luciano Spalletti has decided to name an unchanged Inter side to the one that started the victory away to Hellas Verona, while Torino boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has made three alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Nicolas Burdisso, Joel Obi and Tomas Rincon coming into the starting line-up to replace Emiliano Moretti, Afriyie Acquah and Mirko Valdifiori, respectively.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: INTER 0-0 TORINO
If the rest of today's Serie A action is as good as that first half, we're certainly in for a treat! Both Inter and Torino have pushed really hard inside the final third of the pitch, resulting in the two teams enjoying plenty of good chances on goal. The visitors went closest with Baselli's excellent header just before the break, but Skriniar and Icardi have also gone close to scoring for the home side. The second half should be a great one!
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: INTER 1-1 TORINO
The referee finally blows his whistle for the last time, bringing an end to what was a thoroughly entertaining game. In the end, a draw is arguably a fair result, as both Inter and Torino enjoyed plenty of good chances on goal. Either side could have come away with all three points right at the end but neither were quite able to find the back of the net one last time, despite their best efforts.
