Baines with a good effort from the edge of the box, the left-back tried a dipping shot but it didn't have enough on it and it flies just over the Leicester crossbar. Once more, another chance from outside the penalty area.
86'
CHANCE LEICESTER! Iborra with a good opportunity to make it three-nil here, the ball falls perfectly to him all alone in the box, but he can't move his feet quick enough and he scuffs his shot behind for a goal-kick.

65'
I. Gueye gets yellow.
Idrissa Gana Gueye is shown a yellow card by the referee for his block on Jamie Vardy as he broke forward.
64'
Leicester have defended very well so far, with Everton predominantly being on the front foot in this second period. Claude Puel may need to look at making a substitute here to freshen things up in midfield as the Toffees continue to have more possession.
62'
We've entered the final half an hour of the game at the King Power Stadium and Leicester still look comfortable at two-nil up, with Everton failing to carve out any goalscoring chances and Schmeichel has barely had a save to make in the Leicester goal.
59'
Gueye has a strike from long range which deflects off Maguire and luckily behind for a corner after going over the crossbar. Baines' resulting corner is well cleared by Iborra. Plenty of possession and half-chances for Everton, but they don't look like scoring at the moment.
57'
Brief stoppage in play here as Vardy is down injured after striking Williams, following an attempt at a spectacular overhead kick. It looks like he will be fine to continue.
55'
There is still a good pace to the game here, with Leicester looking to counter at every opportunity after stealing the ball back from Everton. Gray is still causing plenty of problems for the Toffees down the wing. Gray wins a free-kick near the centre circle, the ball eventually goes out for a throw which Fuchs launches deep into the penalty area and forces Pickford to punch it away.
53'
Everton have started the second half well, keeping the ball and putting pressure on Leicester in their own half. However, they are yet to carve out any chances on the Foxes goal and the Leicester midfield are doing well to put quick pressure on Gueye and Davies as soon as they get on the ball.
50'
The Foxes failed to win any of their seven Premier League games played on a Sunday last season, drawing two and losing five. They look comfortable here today and are on course to take all three points.

That's the half-time whistle!
45'
There will be a minimum of two minutes added time played here.
42'
A lot of Everton's good play going forward is coming from down the left wing with Mirallas and Leighton Baines getting forward at every opportunity, but they are lacking a focal point in the penalty area with Rooney drifting into an attacking midfield position, which is leaving Calvert-Lewin as the only striking option.
40'
Just five minutes remain in this first half at the King Power Stadium, can the Toffees pull a goal back before the break to give themselves a boost?
38'
This is much better by Everton as we approach half-time. They are finally forcing Leicester into their own half and defending of their own, but much of their play is in front of the Foxes defence and it is easy for the hosts to deal with.
35'
Mirallas has a snapshot from the edge of the penalty area, after Mahrez gets caught on the ball by Gueye, but his powerful strike goes just wide of the post. Not too far wide!
34'
Everton have lacked goals so far this season, with Wayne Rooney and Oumar Niasse being Everton's only goalscorers in the league this campaign.
31'
PENALTY SHOUT! Christian Fuchs brings down Lennon in the box with a tackle from behind, but Andre Marriner waves away the protests. It doesn't appear that the Foxes left-back got the ball there and Everton will feel hard done by with that decision.
29'
D. Gray has scored a goal for Leicester City! Assist by C. Fuchs.
GOOOAAALLL! LEICESTER DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! It’s an own goal by Jonjoe Kenny, as Gray whips a low ball into the box looking for Vardy. Kenny completely slices his clearance and it fires straight past Pickford and into the back of the net. A wonderful finish which the defender definitely didn’t intend to happen, but Leicester now lead two-nil.
27'
CHANCE EVERTON! Excellent pass by Rooney out to Aaron Lennon on the right wing, the winger then pulls the ball across the Leicester penalty area looking for Calvert-Lewin, but the striker can't move his feet quick enough and it skips past him, a very good opportunity there, which would've caused Kasper Schmeichel problems if he had managed to get a shot away.
25'
STAT: Jamie Vardy has now been involved in five goals in five Premier League games against Everton, with three goals and two assists against the Toffees.
22'
CHANCE LEICESTER! The Foxes are all over Everton at the moment and they almost double their lead here after Vardy used his pace to beat Jagielka and get to the byline, he then pulls a pass back to Mahrez which is cut out by Williams. However, Mahrez then nicks it back off his toes, turns and fires a shot at goal but he doesn't get enough power behind it and Jordan Pickford makes a good save.
20'
T. Davies gets yellow.
Tom Davies is the first player to be shown a yellow card here, for his blatant pull on Vardy, to stop the striker mounting a counter-attack.
18'
J. Vardy has scored a goal for Leicester City! Assist by R. Mahrez.
GOOOAAALLL! LEICESTER TAKE THE LEAD! Jamie Vardy puts the finishing touch on a superb Leicester counter-attack that was beautifully created by Gray. The winger beats three Everton players after sprinting from mid-way in the own half to the Everton penalty area, he then places a perfect pass to Mahrez who squares the ball across the box to Vardy who has a simple finish.
Mahrez unselfishly played an inch-perfect pass to Vardy after an excellent run by Gray, weaving his way past Tom Davies and Wayne Rooney. The Leicester striker then put the icing on a wonderful Foxes counter.
15'
The game has settled down now after a fast opening few minutes by Leicester, Everton seem to have held off the Foxes attacks and are now starting to enjoy possession of the own, but haven't yet created anything in the final third.
14'
The Toffees have won just two of their last 13 games in all competitions. Eight points is Everton's worst tally after nine games of a Premier League season since 2005-06, although they ended that campaign in 11th place.
12'
STAT: Kevin Mirallas makes his 150th appearance for Everton this afternoon. He made 91 appearances for Lille under Claude Puel, who handed him his Ligue 1 debut, aged 17, when he came on as sub and scored the winner in a 1-0 win against PSG.
10'
Excellent start here by the Foxes, they are well on top and look dangerous every time they venture forward, with Mahrez and Gray getting plenty of touches on the ball and putting crosses into the box. Everton don't look comfortable at the moment.
8'
CHANCE LEICESTER! Wes Morgan with the opportunity at the far post. Riyad Mahrez swings the corner in which falls to Morgan, he power his effort towards goal, but Williams gets in to make the crucial block. Another Leicester corner, which comes to nothing.
7'
Wayne Rooney has scored in each of Everton’s last two Premier League games, he hasn’t scored in three successive appearances in the league since January 2016.
5'
Brief stoppage in play here as Harry Maguire looks in pain following a challenge with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the centre-back managed to usher the ball out of play for a goal-kick but seemed to fall awkwardly.
3'
Good start by Leicester here, they are looking to use the pace of Jamie Vardy and Demarai Gray early on to stretch Ashley Williams and Phil Jagielka in the heart of the Everton defence. Gray has the first chance at goal here, after being given far too much time and space on the edge of the area and he fires a low shot just wide of the Everton goal.
2'
Leicester ended a six-game winless run by beating Swansea last weekend. Whilst, Everton suffered a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Arsenal at Goodison Park. Both sides find themselves much lower in the Premier League then they would've expected this season.

We're underway!
Good afternoon and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Premier League clash between Leicester City and Everton at the King Power Stadium.
Claude Puel will take charge of Leicester for the first time as they face the Toffees today. The former Southampton boss became the Foxes' third manager this year when he was appointed on Wednesday to replace Craig Shakespeare.
Puel led Saints to an eighth-placed finish in the Premier League in his only season in charge, and hopes to continue the fine work done by Michael Appleton, who won both his games in temporary charge of the Foxes.
Meanwhile, Everton are still on the hunt for a permanent manager after sacking Ronald Koeman in the wake of a 5-2 defeat to Arsenal last Sunday. David Unsworth has been placed in temporary charge as the Toffees look to move out of the relegation zone.
Puel will be without Robert Huth and Matty James because of ongoing ankle and calf injuries respectively. Idrissa Gueye returns after serving a one-match suspension in Everton's midweek Carabao Cup defeat. Yannick Bolasie, Ross Barkley and Seamus Coleman remain sidelined for the Toffees.
TEAM NEWS: Puel has made two changes in his first match, in come Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray for Shinji Okazaki and Marc Albrighton. Meanwhile, Unsworth makes three changes from Ronald Koeman’s last game in charge against Arsenal. Aaron Lennon makes his first Premier League start since January and there’s also places in the starting XI for Kevin Mirallas and Tom Davies.
Head-to-head: Everton won both league meetings last season with an aggregate scoreline of 6-2. However, those are Leicester's only defeats in the last eight encounters in all competitions.
The teams are out here at the King Power Stadium and kick-off is almost upon us. Stay tuned for all of the match action!
Leicester have been excellent in the opening 45 minutes here and deservedly hold a two-nil lead at the break, thanks to a goal from Jamie Vardy and an unfortunate own-goal by Jonjoe Kenny. The Foxes have used their attacking pace to great effect, with Demarai Gray causing huge problems for the Toffees and he was heavily involved with both Leicester goals.
HALF-TIME: LEICESTER 2-0 EVERTON
FULL-TIME: LEICESTER 2-0 EVERTON
A victory and three well deserved points for Leicester and Claude Puel in his first game in charge of the Foxes, who scored both goals in the first half. Everton improved in the second half but never really looked like scoring, with half-chances from outside of the box and Leicester defended resolutely, to move up to 11th in the table, whilst Everton remain in the relegation zone.
That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
