S. Okazaki has scored a goal for Leicester City! Assist by Iborra.
Iborra claims the assist after his pass finds Okazaki who then volleys home.
GOAAAALLLL LEICESTER - Okazaki has grabbed it but where has that come from. The sub is left unmarked inside the area and the ball deflects into his path and he keeps his cool before slotting the ball past Ward.
63'
A sub may be needed by either manager as the tempo has dropped massively. With these two teams playing each other in a few days time, you'd think extra-time would be an issue but so far they continue to cancel each other out.
60'
Apart from Gray, Leicester are yet to get going still in this Carabao Cup tie. Okazaki's introduction could change all that but their midfield is currently being outplayed at home.
57'
M. Grujić gets yellow.
Marko Grujic is the first man into Stuart Attwell's book after a sloppy challenge in the middle of the park.
55'
CHANCE Leicester - Gray is again the architect as he powers past several past Liverpool players before working the ball onto his left foot. He picks his spot but then scuffs his effort and a goal kick is given.
53'
S. Okazaki enters the game and replaces L. Ulloa.
Ulloa is unable to continue with what looks like concussion and he is replaced by Shinji Okazaki.
50'
Shakespeare slightly worried here as Leonardo Ulloa is receiving treatment after colliding with Georginio Wijnaldum but the pair are both on their feet at present.
47'
The home side win an early free-kick but Gray can only find someone in the stand. He will want to move on from that quickly but he has been bright so far tonight.
46'
B. Woodburn enters the game and replaces Philippe Coutinho.
Liverpool make a change at the break as Coutinho is replaced by Wales international Benjamin Woodburn.
The second-half is underway at the King Power Stadium.
45'
Solanke manages to spring the offside trap but he can only volley over the bar from a tight angle.
44'
Half-time is now approaching and the action has fizzled out as we have got closer to the break. Liverpool still the better of the two teams but they've wasted too many chances.
40'
Leicester concede another free-kick on the edge of the box and Coutinho puts his hand up to take. The former Inter man is only 18 yards out but he blasts the ball into the stands and a chance goes begging.
35'
Solanke down at the minute after colliding with Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell but the duo should be OK to continue. As expected Liverpool's dynamic attack is causing problems but the deadlock is yet to be broken.
30'
Midfielder Vicente Iborra sums up Leicester's night so far as he boots the ball into touch when under no pressure. Shakespeare's men must improve here if they are to progress into the next round.
27'
CHANCE Liverpool - Solanke sees his shot blocked by defender Wes Morgan but the ball falls to Robertson who somehow fails to find the back of the net from close range.
25'
After an intense 10 minutes or so, the action has died down for the minute at the King Power.
22'
Robertson is again left unmarked on the wing and his cross finds Solanke but the former Chelsea youngster slips as he tries to volley home and the ball sails out for a goalkick.
20'
Winger Demarai Gray has the home crowd on their feet as he glides down the left flank before cutting inside. However, his shot is very tame and Danny Ward can just bend down to collect the ball.
18'

14'
Defender Joe Gomez wins his side a corner after seeing his cross blocked but Marko Grujic can only head wide from the resulting set-piece.
11'
Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho finds a pocket of space on the edge of the box and his right-footed shot looks goalbound but Leicester stopper Ben Hamer is on hand to palm the ball away.
10'
Huge roar rings around the King Power as Islam Slimani is played in over the top but Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward is quick to react and clears the ball.
8'
Robertson is already causing plenty of problems tonight, the Scotland international breaks free again down the left but his teasing cross goes out for a goal-kick.
6'
CHANCE Liverpool - Left-back Andrew Robertson is given too much space down the left and his cross finds Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain but his shot is blocked on the edge of the six-yard box. The corner finds Dominic Solanke but the striker shoots wide and Leicester clear their lines.
4'
Still early days in this one but Leicester have slightly edged the play after a winning a corner. Nothing came of the set-piece but it's a positive start for the home side.

A relatively low key start from both teams but it's a sense of what is to come this week, with these two sides set to play each other at the weekend.
1'
We're underway as Liverpool get the ball rolling at the King Power Stadium.
Hello and welcome to our Live Text Commentary of Leicester City vs Liverpool from the Carabao Cup at the King Power Stadium.
Both of these teams come into the game in disappointing form and the Carabao Cup may allow them a welcomed break from the pressure of the Premier League. Leicester have not won any of their last three Premier League games, while Liverpool have not recorded a league win since August 27.
Team news coming up...
The Foxes have already played in the competition before, with a 4-1 win over Sheffield United allowing them to progress into tonight's tie. Liverpool have yet to play in the Carabao Cup, but they have already played in the Champions League and they secured a 2-2 draw in their game against Sevilla last week.
Leicester City Starting XI (4-4-2): Hamer, Amartey, Morgan, Dragovic, Chilwell, Gray, Ndidi, Iborra, Albrighton, Slimani, Ulloa.
Liverpool Starting XI (4-3-3): Ward, Flanagan, Gomez, Klavan, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Grujic, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Solanke, Coutinho.

Both sets of players are in the tunnel, not long to go here!
HALF-TIME Leicester 0-0 Liverpool.
Klopp's men have had a number of chances so far but they're yet to find a breakthrough at the King Power Stadium. Oxlade-Chamberlain, Solanke, Coutinho and Robertson have all gone close but the Reds will need to be more clinical in the second-half.
As for Leicester, they've just not been good enough to test this Liverpool defence. The visitors come into this after a number of poor performances at the back but they are yet to be put under any real pressure.
FULL-TIME - Leicester City 2-0 Liverpool.
Shakespeare's men move into the next round of the Carabao Cup after a superb second-half display. In the first-half Liverpool dominated and had a number of chances but they lost their grip on the game. They were eventually punished after efforts from Okazaki and Slimani and Leicester deserved to advance in the end.
Liverpool produced another frustrating display at both ends of the pitch and Klopp has got some thinking to do ahead of the league meeting between these two at the weekend. Oxlade-Chamberlain was poor for the full 90 minutes but the former Borussia Dortmund man will be confident of getting more out of the former Southampton youngster.
That is all for tonight folks, it's Leicester who go into the hat for the next round. Thanks for joining us, goodbye!
