Caceres sends what looks like a dangerous cross in from the right but it ends up skidding along the roof of the net. There are going to be two minutes of added time.
88'
Vecino pulls the trigger from distance but fails to trouble Westwood, who watches the woeful attempt fly high and wide of his goal.
85'
Silva tries his luck with an ambitious first-time shot from 20 yards but he is nowhere near hitting the target.
84'
Great challenge from Gimenez! The Atletico Madrid man slides in and dispossesses McClean in the box to stop him netting a second.
83'
A handball from Hoolahan gives Uruguay a free-kick inside their own half, easing the pressure they were coming under. They struggle to hold onto it, though, with Ireland chasing them across the pitch.
81'
Ireland look happy to sit back and let Uruguay control possession for the final moments. They'll want to keep the fans entertained as another round of the 'Viking Clap' rings around the Aviva Stadium.
79'
That should be the win the wrapped up for Ireland, which will come as a bitter disappointment for Uruguay and Tabarez. They'll need to pick themselves up before taking on Italy.
77'
J. McClean has scored a goal for Republic of Ireland! Assist by D. Murphy.
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAL!!! MCCLEAN WITH A GREAT FINISH! Silva's square pass is intercepted and Murphy spots McClean storming forward on the left and slides an excellent ball into his path. The West Brom midfielder skips past Gimenez and arrows a finish into the bottom-right corner.
Excellent vision from Murphy, who spotted the space in behind the Uruguay defence.
74'
J. McClean enters the game and replaces J. Hendrick.
Hendrick is not risked, with McClean taking his spot for the remainder.
Murphy outmuscles Coates as they contest a looping ball. It breaks kindly for him and his cross-goal shot is held by Conde. Murphy may feel he could have done more there.

Description
72'
Uruguay manage to maintain possession despite failing to make the most of a corner. Silva is teed up for a shot at goal and he side-foots a tame effort straight at Westwood from 25 yards.
70'
There has been a break in play with Hendrick going down, seemingly having sustained an issue during his challenge on Urretaviscaya. He is back on the pitch once play restarts, though, clearly just taking precautions.
68'
GREAT SAVE! Urretaviscaya's free-kick is met by the head of Gimenez, who cranes the ball back across goal. Westwood springs to his left and gets a strong hand to the effort to push it away!
67'
J. Hendrick gets yellow.
Hendrick goes into the book for a poor tackle on Urretaviscaya.
66'
What a shame the offside flag went up - that would've been a lovely goal! Vecino's cross is headed to Nandez by Stuani, and the Penarol man nods it straight back. Stuani heads it home, but he was in an offside position initially!
65'
Gimenez does well to dispossess McGeady and keep the ball in play near the corner flag. His attempt to quickly move it forward only finds Arter, and Ireland come back at them again.
64'
Gimenez is penalised for a trip on Murphy as he fell to the floor following an aerial challenge with the substitute forward. Brady's delivery is disappointing this time, getting too much on it and handing Uruguay a goal-kick.
62'
F. Ricca enters the game and replaces M. Pereira.
It's a debut for Ricca, who comes on for Pereira. He'll go to left-back with Caceres moving to the right.
61'
A. Pearce enters the game and replaces S. Duffy.
D. Murphy enters the game and replaces J. Walters.
Duffy, who took a knock in the first half, is replaced by Pearce for the remainder.
Walters won't get a chance to add to his tally - he makes way for Murphy.
60'
A. McGeady enters the game and replaces J. Hayes.
The flamboyant McGeady comes on for Hayes, whose had a quiet evening.
59'
Hoolahan cedes possession 25 yards from his own goal and Uruguay quickly look to pounce. Nandez tries to create room for a shot but he runs into Long and Ireland avoid any punishment.
57'
Caceres hoofs a long ball for Hayes to chase but Coates is across to cover and bring it out. He tries to pick out Stuani with a lofted pass up to Stuani, which Duffy and Long are able to clear.
55'
Vecino produced a woeful volley from distance earlier but his latest strike from range is far better. The midfielder unleashes a stinging drive that swerves through the air and requires Westwood to pat it away before collecting the second ball.
53'
OPTA STAT: Across their previous 10 internationals at the Aviva Stadium, Ireland kept seven clean sheets and conceded just four times.
51'
C. Christie has scored a goal for Republic of Ireland! Assist by W. Hoolahan.
Hoolahan making a quick impact by earning an assist, but it was all Christie's work, really.
GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAL!! CHRISTIE RESTORES IRELAND'S LEAD! He steps inside onto his left foot, beating Caceres with ease. Coates is unable to block the ball as it bends towards the bottom-left corner, and it ends up nestling in the net with Conde failing to get a hand to it!
50'
A neat run from Hendrick sees him beat Vecino and roll the ball out to Brady, his cross is only half-cleared and Ireland keep the pressure on.
48'
Predictably, with so many changes it looks as though it may take the second half a while to get going.
46'
K. Westwood enters the game and replaces D. Randolph.
N. Nández enters the game and replaces C. Sánchez.
W. Hoolahan enters the game and replaces G. Whelan.
A. Silva enters the game and replaces D. Laxalt.
Á. González enters the game and replaces E. Arévalo.
Westwood replaces Randolph for the second half.
We are back underway.
Hoolahan is on for Whelan in a positive change.
Gonzalez provides some fresh legs in the midfield with Arevalo Rios withdrawn.
Silva comes in for Laxalt in one of Uruguay's three changes.
Nandez of Penarol is on for the experienced Sanchez.
45' +2
Another excellent delivery from Brady is begging for a touch to guide it into the back of the net, but neither Ward nor Walters can oblige. And that is half-time!
45'
We are going to have a minimum of two minutes of added time.
44'
HOW HAS HE MISSED?! A great move from Ireland sees Christie switch the ball out to Brady on the left, and he guides an excellent first time pass into the six-yard box for Walters. He sends it goalwards with an instinctive touch but it crashes back off the woodwork!
43'
Arter jogs back on, so the problem may not be as big as he clearly thought initially.
42'
Ireland knock the ball out of play so Arter can receive some treatment. It looks like he rolled his left ankle while dribbling over the halfway line.
40'
That goal should set the second half up quite nicely. For now, though, things have quietened down with the tempo slowing noticeably. The good news for Ireland is that Duffy is back on the pitch.
38'
J. Giménez has scored a goal for Uruguay! Assist by C. Sánchez.
A nice delivery from Sanchez, whose set-pieces had been disappointing until then.
GOOOOOOAAAAL!! URUGUAY ARE LEVEL! Sanchez goes back onto free-kick duty and his delivery draws Randolph off his line and outside the six-yard box. He sticks an arm out to punch it clear but Gimenez beats him to it, looping a header into the back of the net!
36'
Duffy is down on the ground and undoing his right boot. He takes it off, quickly puts it back on and returns to his feet. The medical staff come on but he jogs off with them so should be OK to continue.
34'
OFF THE BAR! Urretaviscaya goes across to take the corner and finds Caceres in the centre of the box. He gets between two defenders to power a header that rattles the woodwork before going behind!
33'
Ward has an impatient hack at Stuani and Uruguay get a free-kick on the right. Urretaviscaya swings a tantalising delivery into the middle and Duffy gets enough on it to steer it over for a corner.
32'
OPTA STAT: This is the fourth meeting between Ireland and Uruguay. The Europeans have never beaten their South American opponents, losing twice and drawing once.
30'
Sanchez curls a free-kick from the right wing towards the back post where Gimenez rises. Long goes up with him and gets enough on the ball to send it out for a throw-in.
29'
That will be a blow for Uruguay, but they've offered very little in an attacking sense so far. Ireland's forwards have seemed far more coherent.
27'
J. Walters has scored a goal for Republic of Ireland!
GOOOOOOOAAAAAL!! WHAT A STRIKE FROM WALTERS! Uruguay pay the price for giving the Stoke man too much time after Sanchez gets a weak foot to the ball. He bends a brilliant right-footed shot from 20 yards beyond Conde and into the back of the net!
26'
Hendrick slides a nice pass down the left-hand channel for Walters and the striker sends a first-time cross into the centre. Brady is not on hand at the back post, though, and Uruguay are able to remove the threat.
24'
Ward is caught in possession on the left by Urretaviscaya and he rolls a clever ball across the top of the area for Laxalt, whose attempt to bend a shot into the top-left corner from 18 yards flies over.
23'
Urretaviscaya does well to release Vecino but he seems to miscommunicate with Sanchez, who makes a different run to the one he anticipates. His pass ends up going straight to a green shirt and bringing a promising moment to a swift end.
22'
Brady clips it into the centre of the box, but Conde has a clear run out of the six-yard box to come and claim it.
21'
Christie and Brady combine well down the right, the defender surging forward and drawing a foul that earns Ireland a free-kick in a promising position.
19'
OPTA STAT: Martin O'Neill has lost just one of his last 16 internationals at the Aviva Stadium, but that came against Iceland in March.
17'
Cavani floats a lovely diagonal into the box for Stuani, who peels away from Duffy and finds room to control on his chest and quickly get off a volley. His connection isn't great and flies straight into the arms of Randolph.
16'
Christie rolls a pass down the right for Brady but he's tracked by Caceres and the defender comes away with the ball. It's been a pretty low-key start to proceedings in Dublin.
14'
Vecino tries his luck with a volley from about 35 yards out but that is nowhere near finding the back of the net. He really shouldn't have taken that on.
13'
C. Stuani enters the game and replaces E. Cavani.
BRADY! Good strike from the winger, drilling the ball towards the near post where Conde dives down to push it behind. A short corner gives the Burnley winger another chance to go for goal, and his effort swings past the upright with Duffy unable to connect with a header.
That is it for Cavani. Stuani has come on to replace him.
12'
Oh dear, that could be the end of Cavani's match! The PSG striker appears to have picked up an injury and has walked down the tunnel.
10'
Not the best of efforts from Whelan! He runs onto a loose ball from 25 yards and screws and absolute mishit well wide.
9'
Christie heads a diagonal pass over the top from Sanchez out for a throw-in, stopping Urretaviscaya from getting in behind. Uruguay fail to keep Ireland pinned back and soon find themselves on the back foot again.
7'
Ward floats a great delivery to the back post from the left wing and Hendrick attacks it, doing enough to force Coates to put it out for a corner. The ball in is punched clear by Conde.
6'
Brady pings a free-kick into the box from deep on the right but Caceres gets his head to it and clears the danger. The centre-back sends a long ball forwards searching out Sanchez, but he's unable to get on the end of it.
4'
Ireland have started by pressing well, putting Uruguay's defence under intense pressure as soon as they get the ball. A nervy pass from Conde to Laxalt almost gave Brady an early chance, but Tabarez's side ust about got away with it.
2'
It looks like it may well be a back three from Uruguay, with Pereira and Laxalt operating as wing-backs. No Diego Godin for the visitors tonight, which is why Caceres has been able to make his first appearance since November 2015.

We are underway in Dublin!
Hello and welcome to today's live coverage of the international friendly between Republic of Ireland and Uruguay at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Ireland suffered a 3-1 defeat to Mexico in New Jersey on Thursday but find themselves back on familiar ground today. With an important World Cup qualifier against Austria scheduled for seven days, a victory against Uruguay would provide a huge confidence boost after a run of three winless matches.
Uruguay are enduring a difficult run themselves. They have won just one of their last four matches, a streak that has severely weakened their position in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying standings. Positive results in friendlies against Ireland and Italy before a huge match against Argentina will be of paramount importance for experience coach Oscar Tabarez.
The teams have been announced, so let's see how they will be shaping up.
Ireland (4-3-3): Darren Randolph; Cyrus Christie, Kevin Long, Shane Duffy, Stephen Ward; Jeff Hendrick, Glenn Whelan, Harry Arter; Jonny Hayes, Jonathan Walters, Robbie Brady.
Uruguay (4-4-2): Esteban Conde; Maxi Pereira, Jose Gimenez, Sebastian Coates, Martin Caceres; Carlos Sanchez, Egidio Arevalo Rios, Matias Vecino, Diego Laxalt; Jonathan Urretaviscaya, Edinson Cavani.
Ireland substitutes: Kieren Westwood, Colin Doyle, Alex Pearce, John O’Shea, Richard Keogh, Aiden McGeady, Callum O’Dowda, Daryl Murphy, James McClean, Andrew Boyle, Wes Hoolahan, Conor Hourihane, Eunan O’Kane, David McGoldrick, John Egan, Daryl Horgan, Alan Browne.
Walters captains Ireland this evening, while Kevin Long makes his first international start. Uruguay are without one of their two star strikers, Luis Suarez has been left out due to a hamstring injury. There is also no Fernando Muslera as he was still required by Galatasaray this weekend, so 34-year-old Nacional goalkeeper Conde makes his debut between the posts.
The teams are out on the pitch, so kick-off will be upon us in a few minutes.
There will be a minute's silence before kick-off in memory of the seven people who lost their lives in Saturday's terror attack in London.
HALF-TIME - Ireland 1-1 Uruguay: It's all square at the Aviva Stadium, with Walters' brilliant opener cancelled out by a header from Gimenez. The Stoke striker should have added a second just before the interval but he turned onto the crossbar from inside the six-yard box! Stay tuned for the second half.
FULL-TIME - Ireland 3-1 Uruguay: Walters opened the scoring with a stunning shot from 20 yards, but Gimenez sent Uruguay into half-time level with a looping header as Randolph failed to claim a free-kick. Christie restored Ireland's advantage before McClean completed an impressive victory that will provide a huge boost for O'Neill's men ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Austria.
That's all from us for tonight. Have a good evening!
