90' +1

Martinez manages to whip a cross into the area but no-one in a green and white shirt is able to get a head to it. The fourth official indicated a minimum of three minutes added time. Can either side find a way through?
Martínez is pulled up for a rash challenge on Gaitan.
89'
Betis look as though they're happy to see out the game now and are very much content with a point. The hosts have delivered a brilliant performance after a long and difficult season, they can leave the pitch tonight with their heads held high.
87'
Álex Martínez enters the game and replaces R. Durmisi.
Riza Durmisi receives a rapturous applause as he hobbles to the sidelines to make way for Alejandro Martínez Sánchez. It was a spirited display from Durmisi who found himself back in the side following that shake-up in management.
86'
Carrasco goes it alone down the wing before eventually being muscled off the ball. It was an energetic run from a clearly tired winger. We've entered the last five minutes of the game and another goal isn't looking likely. Though we never say never.
83'
Betis are looking for a way forward but can't seem to get past the Atleti defence as the ball is out for a corner. Castro whips the delivery in and a red and shirt manages to get a head to it. The ball is back in the Betis half as they look to regain their composure and seek another way past the visitor's back line.
81'
The tempo of the game is begging to falter somewhat as Atleti search for a way forward before the attack is quickly cut out from Betis. The match is certainly more flat than we seen earlier and the hosts seem to have lost their energy somewhat. The home crowd are beginning to ramp up the volume before they bid their side farewell for the summer.
78'
The ball is hit up field searching for Torres but Adan is able to collect it. We're nearing the final ten minutes of this evening's fixture and both sides look to be tiring. Can Betis grab a winner or will Atleti beat them to it and show their ruthless streak?
75'
T. Partey enters the game and replaces A. Griezmann.
Antoine Griezmann heads off for Thomas Teye Partey. The striker may have just played his second last game for Simeone's side as he becomes increasingly linked with a move to Old Trafford.
73'
Betis seek another way forward as Joaquin cuts back inside as the hosts work it into the box. The Atleti defence are alert, however, and Betis must find another route and they almost do just that! Cejudo is there again as he forces Oblak into a full stretch save from close range before the keeper makes yet another brilliant save from the follow up effort. Excellent keeping from the Atleti stopper.

Description
70'
Cejudo almost makes an immediate impact, or at least it looks that way. The sub is 25-yards out and carves some space for himself before unleashing a shot at goal. At first glimpse it looks as though it may heading for goal but upon closer inspection, it's further away than it appears.
68'
Cejudo enters the game and replaces J. Martin.
Jonas Martin makes way for Álvaro Cejudo as Betis seek a response to that disappointing equaliser.
67'

Petros is not happy and is adamant he's innocent.
Petros is furious as Gomez's quick legs force him into a foul and gifts Atleti a free-kick in a seemingly dangerous position...
Saul grabs the assist for Savic's leveller with a headed pass.
GOAL! Not long after Betis go ahead, Savic equalises for Atleti following Hernandez's free-kick. Savic's knee may have been offside but the centre-back is not likely to care too much as his side are now back in the game.
64'
N. Gaitán enters the game and replaces K. Gameiro.
Fernando Torres enters the game and replaces Filipe Luís.
Kevin Gameiro makes way for Nicolás Gaitán as Simeone looks to bring on some fresh legs.
It's a double substitution as Filipe Luis exists the pitch for Fernando Torres. Luis' season is now over following that yellow card, earlier in the game.
62'
The momentum from Atleti is no-where to be seen. The visitors are attempting to take it forward on the counter but before they're even able to get a sniff at goal, Betis have managed to get five men back. An excellent from the hosts.
60'
S. Savić gets yellow.
Savic receives a yellow for a needless foul and will join Luis in missing the final game at the Vicente Calderon.
59'
What a goal that was! Where have this Betis side been all season!? Atleti seek an immediate response but Adan is alert. The pressure is on Atleti now. Simeone has not lost to Betis in eight games, with seven consecutive wins and one draw. In the last meetings between the two sides, Madrid have won all, scoring 12 and conceding just one. That record may just be ended today if Betis manage not to get complacent.
57'
Dani Ceballos has scored a goal for Real Betis!
GOAL! WHAT A HIT! Cellabos has been at the heart of everything for Betis and his efforts are duly rewarded with a stunning effort from the midfielder. The ball fell about 25-yards out and Cellabos unleashed a fierce volley with power and precision to leave Oblak hapless. 1-0 Betis!
56'
It's a great ball in from Joaquin but Castro is beaten to the cross and the danger stopped. Betis are undoubtedly enjoying the better chances of the second-half, as well as the first. Sevilla may be trailing 2-0 to Real Madrid to help cement Atleti's third place finish but the visitors have been poor this evening.
55'
Koke gets yellow.
Koke is the first player of the second-half to go in the book.
54'
Saul takes his turn to bring the ball down as he attempts to break into the Betis box, however, the referee pulls him up for handball and the hosts are able to relax. They waste no time in taking it forward as Castro does tremendously well to keep a looping ball in play. Betis are enjoying a good spell of possession in the attacking third and Oblak's decision to stay on his line proves to be the right one as he cuts out the danger.
51'
There's something truly beautiful about the Corrasco is able to bring the ball down and it's excellence yet again from the midfielder. However, his hard work is yet to be rewarded as Jonas Martin and Adan cut out the danger to keep the score line at 0-0. Atleti look to be creeping into the game somewhat.
48'
Durmisi executes a brilliant series of turns down the wing and Betis are really enjoying themselves this evening. There's momentarily danger at the other end but it's short-lived and the hosts race forward yet again. Betis are really giving this everything they have and it's clear some Atleti bodies are tiring from that midweek Champions League fixture.
46'
The hosts get us underway for the remaining 45-minutes...
45'
The corner is swung in and straight out for another by Jonas Martin at the front post. The second is taken low by Gabi and ultimately, a poor decision as it fails trouble Betis in the slightest. That marks the last of the action of the first-half.
44'
Atleti have it in the Betis box again but Joaquin thrashes it way. Moments later, Corrasco and Luis team up to work the ball back into the box before the latter wins a corner. Atleti's third of the game.
42'
J. Giménez gets yellow.
José María Giménez is booked for handball inside the box, though he protests he was just covering his face.
That said, Atleti take it forward before Navarro cuts out the danger. Only for a moment so as Atleti are back trying to work it into the host's box. Corrasco is brought down by Navarro but the full-back escapes without a booking. Koke whips it in and it looks dangerous but there's fury in the box as Giminez is pulled up for hand-ball, the Atletico man adamant he's being falsely accused.
40'
It's a fierce delivery but Oblak just about deals with it, opting to first punch the ball before clutching it with both hands. Betis are causing the visitors a number of problems and Simeone's men have very much found themselves on the back foot.
38'
The free-kick is swiftly dealt with by Atletico but Betis are soon troubling the visiting back line once again. Cebellos is constantly at the heart of the action the hosts. This time, it's Gimenez who concedes the free-kick for a foul on Jonas Martin and Betis have another free-kick in dangerous position.
36'
Filipe Luís gets yellow.
Filipe Luis is shown a yellow card for a foul on Darko and will now miss Atletico's final game and the last ever game at the Vicente Calderón Stadium. The full-back looks visibly disappointed and understandably so.
35'
Castro is the man to take and whilst he matches to penetrate the wall, it's safely into the hands of Oblak. The home fans will assuredly be buoyed by what they're seeing this afternoon after a difficult season. Betis average just 1.33 point per game at home but if they continue to play how they are, they'll certainly end their season at home on a high.
33'
It's an excellent through ball to Griezmann and you would normally expect the striker to clinical in such a situation but Adan, again, reads the situation perfectly. At the other end of the pitch, Petros is away into the area and it's a harsh challenge from Savic. The hosts have a free-kick on the edge of the box in an excellent position.
30'
The resulting free-kick from that Griezmann challenge fails to trouble Betis in the slightest and Adan will cut them out all day long. Simeone will expect more from his players than what they are showing at the minute. Joaquin shakes away from Gabi to gift it to a waiting Brasanac, Castro receives the ball making a run into the box but hits it with too much power and it sails narrowly over.
28'
D. Brašanac gets yellow.
Navarro hits a cross which lands on the left to be put back in by Gonzalez, though no-one is waiting. Betis have definitely had the better share of chances and the hosts are giving Atletico a good game. Their penultimate game of the 2016/17 season is proving to be a good showing thus far and they will be keen to keep this up.
Darko Brašanac is the first player of the evening to be booked following a challenge on Griezmann.
25'
Ceballos is working tirelessly and is certainly up for this evening's game. The midfielder unleashes a fierce shot at goal but it's off the inside of the post and back out causing him to punch the air in frustration. Betis is putting up a hell of a fight here and Trujillo will be pleased with what he's seeing.
24'
The handbags are out here as Navarro is unimpressed having been brought down on the edge of the box by Hernandez. It's a free-kick in a dangerous position for Betis. It's a great swing in but Oblak punches it out to rid the danger immediately.
22'
It's a beautiful piece of play from Celabollas as he turns Koke, grinning whilst doing so. Unfortunately, his efforts are unrewarded due to the offside flag but it was a tremendous turn off the hips from the midfielder.
20'
Luis looks for the one-two with Gameiro but his plan fails and Atleti take the ball back into their own half as they seek a plan B. Koke finds Corrasco with a brilliant delivery but Adan races forward to beat the midfielder to the ball. Betis then take their turn to attack but the Atleti back line is as impeccable as ever.
17'
The hosts take the time to pass the ball around their own half as they seek a way forward. Joaquin does tremendously well to play it through to Brasanac but it's a bizarre finish from the midfielder who opts to put the ball across the face of goal rather than angle it. He should do better and it's a Oblak goal-kick.
14'
The flag stays down for Gameiro before Luis puts it across the face of goal, though ultimately, the chance comes to nothing and Betis clear their lines. Bruno then stabs the ball out of play following another Atleti attack and the visitors have their second corner of the game. It's sliced by Gomez and Adan does well to catch the awkward ball.
11'
SO CLOSE! Surprisingly, it's Betis who go close to grabbing the opener. Joaquin goes it alone as Corrasco accidentally slips him through and it's a glorious opportunity for the striker as he goes one on one with Oblak. The end result, however, is somewhat disappointing as he fails to even force a save.
10'
Gimenez goes down following a foul by Jonas Martin to give Atletico a free-kick in what could be a dangerous position. It's a decent delivery but the hosts are able to breathe a sigh of relief as Adan gets a fist to it. Betis don't want to be giving too many free-kicks away as Simeone's men are notorious for their set-piece ability.
8'
A breakdown in communication sees Navarro give the ball away as Atletico look to take it forward. The visitors take a moment to pass it around the middle of the park but a sloppy pass from Griezmann followed by a foul as he tries to win back sees Petros win a free-kick. Clumsy from the striker who should do better.
6'
Griezmann sets away an Atletico attack as Gamiero waits in the middle, however, Betis are well alert and are able to clear the danger. Savic attempts a through ball which Gamerio does well to control but is flagged offside. An even opening five minutes.
4'
Atletico win their first corner of the game. Koke takes it short Griezmann, the Frenchman takes the one touch but Adan deals with it easily and sets Betis away. Petros races goalwards but can't take it any further.
2'
The first corner of the game goes to Betis. It's a decent corner from Joaquin but thankfully for the visitors, Luis gets in the way. Cellabos then scuffs his shot for an Atletico goal-kick.

We're underway this evening...
Hello and welcome to our live match coverage of Real Betis v Atletico Madrid.
Atletico, on the other hand, will be looking to bounce back from their Champions League heartache having being knocked out of the semi-final by rivals Real, despite winning 2-1 on the night. Atleti need just a point from this evening’s fixture in order to qualify for the Champions League group stages of next season. Diego Simeone’s men have lost just once in twelve games and will be keen to take advantage of a deflated Betis side. Whilst a win would do nothing in terms of Atleti’s league position, a point, or three to secure those Champions League group stages will afford them a kinder schedule next season.
Real Betis will look to their run of three consecutive losses as they host Atletico in their final home game of the season. Betis were soundly beaten 4-0 by Leganes in their last run out and lost 4-1 at home to Alaves prior to that thrashing. After a poor season, the hosts this week sacked coach Victor Sanchez del Amo and replaced him with former captain Alexis Trujillo for their final two games. The former midfielder makes his managerial debut this evening.
Simeone has made two changes to the side that beat Real Madrid 2-1 in the Champions League during the week. Lucas Hernandez replaces Diego Godin at the back whilst Kevin Gameiro replaces Fernando Torres up-front. Gameiro is Atletico’s second top scorer with 16 goals in all competitions whilst Torres has just eight. It’s likely that Simeone is aiming to use Gamerio’s firepower to cement third place and that Champions League group spot.
Trujillo has opted to make five changes as he makes his managerial debut as interim manager for Betis. Alin Tosca, Alex Martinez, Aissa Mandi, Ruben Pardo and Alexander Moreno are dropped in favour of Bruno Carbrera, Riza Durmisi, Petros, Jonas Martin, Dani Cellabos and Joaquin. It seems apparent that is keen to stamp his authority on this Betis side and the shake-up of formation shows that he is looking to make an immediate impact
The two sides head in goalless at the break. The game started somewhat even before Betis began to dominate, the hosts should be ahead having enjoyed the better chances but Trujillo will be happy with what he has seen so far. His switch to a 4-3-3 formation has afforded the hosts a new found attacking prowess and Cellabos is certainly thriving in that role.
Simeone is likely to be disappointed from his side's showing in the first 45-minutes. They have spent a large part of the game on the back-foot against a Betis side they should be able to dominate. Admittedly, they have had few half chances but Griezmann nor Gameiro have been given anything they can do too much with. The Frenchman did go one on one with Adan but the Betis keeper is proving tough to beat, reading every Atleti move with great accuracy.
The final score ends 1-1 and the points are shared. It was a spirited display from a Betis side who could have been easily deflated following their thrashing in their past two games but they gave it everything they had and Trujillo gave a good account of himself in his first managerial appearance. It was a hell of a opener from Cellabos who was the stand out man for the hosts.
It was clear by Atleti's performance that they were hurting, or at least aching from their Champions League tie against Real Madrid. However, the point and Real Madrid's win over Sevilla means that they have secured third place and as a result, the Champions League group stages. Simeone's men now await an emotional farewell at the Vicente Calderon as they face Athletic Bilbao.
