And now Torres has been booked for arguing with the referee. What a crazy end to the game!

What a block by Tiago! Eibar throw everything they've got at Atletico as they try to find a late equaliser. Dani García gets yellow.
D. Godín gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD! It's all kicking off! An off-the-ball argument seems to break out in the middle of the pitch, and the referee brings out his red card for Godin, who has only just been booked. Nobody, including Godin, seems to know what's going on, but the referee is adamant that he needs to leave the pitch immediately.
Meanwhile, Garcia seems to have received a yellow card after having a heated conversation with the fourth official. The temperature is certainly rising inside the Vicente Calderon.

Eibar quickly push forward from the restart and break down the right flank, but a swung cross into the box fails to pick out a team-mate in front of goal and is easily dealt with by the home side.

That was a wonderful run and cross from Godin, who had stayed upfield after a corner failed to result in a chance on goal and was rewarded for his decision to do so.

52'
Anaitz Arbilla gets yellow.
Arbilla commits a clumsy challenge on Carrasco as the Belgian flies down the left wing, resulting in a free-kick for Atletico and a yellow card for the defender. The set-piece fails to result in a chance on goal, however, as it's underhit and easily defended.
51'
Inui shows great feet as he skips in from the left flank and into the penalty area. He then seems to receive a slight pull on the shirt from Koke that sends him to the ground, but the referee isn't convinced and waves play on.
50'
Atletico move the ball around nicely on the edge of the Eibar box before Carrasco is able to get a shot away. It's poorly hit though, allowing Yoel to watch the Belgian's poor effort sail high over the top of the crossbar.
48'

37'
Eibar keep enjoying a decent spell of possession before Arbilla tries to tee up Leon down the right flank. He slips as he unleashes his pass, however, and it's easily cut out by Luis as a result.
35'
After a lengthy period on the back foot, Eibar are finally able to carve out another chance on goal. A low cross is fired in from the right wing by Pedro Leon and finds Sergi Enrich in front of goal, but the striker can only send his low, first-time shot straight into the hands of Oblak.
33'

It's swung into the heart of the penalty area and seems to strike the arm of Ramis, but the referee waves away the hosts' protests and allows play to go on.
28'
Atletico are enjoying plenty of possession at the moment but are struggling to much with it. Eibar are pressing the home side well in the middle of the pitch, forcing them into playing it out wide, where they seem to be lacking the creativity needed to hurt their opponents.
26'
Luis gets himself into a good position as Atletico find some joy deep down the left wing again, but, once more, the cross towards Griezmann isn't hit well enough and makes life easy for the Eibar back line.
24'
After a slightly slow start to the game, Atletico are starting to cause more problems for Eibar whenever they break forward. This time it's Carrasco who charges down the left flank before swinging a cross over to Griezmann, but it's slightly mishit and fails to pick out the striker in front of goal.
22'

Gaitan does well to dart through the middle of the pitch and towards the Eibar box, but he's well closed down by a group of defenders just as he manages to tee up Griezmann. The Frenchman also struggles to get the better of the visitors, and he's forced into going out wide.
18'
Koke goes close! A low cross from Griezmann is cut out by Lejeune but only cleared as far as Koke, who then stabs a first-time strike just wide of the near post.
17'
Luis is left in a pocket of space just outside of the Eibar penalty area over on the left wing, but instead of swinging a cross into the box he tries to cut a pass back to Yannick Carrasco. It's slightly underhit, however, and Garcia can easily cut out the danger.

We're off! Eibar get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s LaLiga game between Atletico Madrid and Eibar at the Estadio Vicente Calderon.
With a two-point lead and a game in hand over Sevilla, Atletico will be well aware just how important it is to win here today. Their challengers for third place could only draw against Real Sociedad last night, meaning that a victory this afternoon would all but confirm another top three finish for Los Rojiblancos, who still have Real Betis and Athletic Bilbao to play this season.
They’ll have to make sure they’ve fully banished any thoughts of Tuesday evening’s heavy defeat, however. Atletico are as good as out of the Champions League after losing 3-0 away to their local rivals, and, with the second leg fast approaching, they’ll have to keep their mind fully on the task ahead of them today. Eibar have proved to be tricky opponents this season and could give Diego Simeone’s men a few problems.
Whatever happens between now and the end of the month, it’s been an excellent season for Eibar. In just their third campaign in the top flight, the tiny Basque side are currently on course to finish in eight place, just eight points behind sixth-place Bilbao and already 11 better than the tally they managed last year. Today kick-starts a tough run for Los Armaginak, who must face title-chasing Barcelona on the final day of the season.
This will be the fourth time that the two sides have met one another this season, and Atletico have left with wins on all but one occasion. They comfortably beat their opponents 3-0 in the first leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final before holding them to a 2-2 draw away from home, whilst January’s league meeting at the Estadio Municipal de Ipurua ended in a 2-0 victory for today’s hosts.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Eibar substitutes: Riesgo, Dos Santos, Galvez, Pena, Rivera, Adrian, Bebe.
Eibar XI (4-4-2): Yoel; Arbilla, Ramis, Lejeune, Junca; Leon, Escalante, Garcia, Inui; Enrich, Kike.
Atletico Madrid substitutes: Moya, Munoz, Cerci, Tiago, Carrasco, Gameiro, Torres.
Atletico Madrid XI (4-4-2): Oblak; Thomas, Godin, Hernandez, Luis; Koke, Gabi, Saul, Gaitan; Correa, Griezmann.
Diego Simeone has decided to make three changes to the Atletico side that started the defeat against Real Madrid during the week, with Thomas Partey, Nicolas Gaitan and Angel Correa coming into the starting line-up to replace Stefan Savic, Yannick Carrasco and Kevin Gameiro, respectively.
Meanwhile, Eibar boss Jose Mendilibar has also made three alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Ander Capa, Christian Rivera and Adrian making way for Anaitz Arbilla, Gonzalo Escalante and Sergi Enrich.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
There's been a late change to the Atletico line-up, with Yannick Carrasco taking the place of Angel Correa up front alongside Antoine Griezmann.
HALF-TIME: ATLETICO MADRID 0-0 EIBAR
It was a mixed first half for Atletico, who started slowly before finally getting into the game. They started to cause more problems for Eibar as the period progressed but haven't done well enough in front of goal. Both Carrasco and Saul were presented with excellent opportunities to open the scoring, but, despite getting themselves into great positions in front of goal, both cleared the crossbar with their thumping efforts.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half.
FULL-TIME: ATLETICO MADRID 1-0 EIBAR
Atletico were given a bit of a late scare by Eibar but did well to leave with a hugely important victory. The win means that they're all but certain to finish in third place again this season, and they definitely deserve all three points after putting in a great shift from start to finish. Eibar, who looked bright at the start and end of the game, just couldn't do enough to break down the stubborn hosts.
