Close! A half-chance for Fenerbahce as Potuk’s cross is palmed into a dangerous by Kritsyuk, but fortunately for the Krasnodar keeper the ball doesn’t fall to a Fenerbahce player and the Krasnodar defence are able to clear.
87'
It’s all one way traffic now as Smolov charges down the left-hand touchline, but for once the striker’s control lets him down allowing Ozbayrakli to steal the ball back before drawing the foul from Smolov.
84'
Another wonderful break forwards from Krasnodar results in Laborde looking to pick out Claesson at the far post, but the cross is just too high for the winger and the danger passes.
81'
Krasnodar are looking the far more likely team to score here as Ramirez fires a wonderful fizzing cross across the face of goal from the left, but there’s no one in the middle to get on the end of it and Fenerbahce survive again.
79'
OFF THE POST!! Pereyra swings in a low corner and Smolov gets to it in front of the near post and hooks the ball towards goal, only to see it bounce off the outside of the post and out for a goal-kick.
78'
Things just starting to get a little scrappy now as Lens commits two fouls in quick succession. The referee resists the temptation to show him a yellow card but his patience must be wearing thin with the winger.
76'
Wonderful save from Demirel!! Pereyra is played clean through on goal down the left-hand edge of the penalty box, but the Fenerbahce keeper does superbly well to get quickly off his line and smother the shot.
74'
The tempo has just dropped a little in the last few minutes here, which might suit Fenerbahce who’ve been completely overrun so far.
72'
Fernandão enters the game and replaces E. Emenike.
O. Tufan enters the game and replaces M. Sow.
Fenerbahce are also going to make a change as Sow is replaced by Ozan Tufan.
And it's going to be a double change from Dick Advocaat as Emenike is replaced by Fernando.
Minute
Description
70'
M. Pereyra enters the game and replaces V. Podberezkin.
Another change for Krasnodar now as the influential Podberezkin is replaced by Mauricio Pereyra.
69'
Laborde nearly makes an instant impression as he gets in behind the Fenerbahce defence down the right-hand edge of the box and looks to pick out Smolov on the edge of the six yard box, but Souza positions himself really well at the near post to intercept the cross.
67'
Fenerbahce just starting to grow into this game now as Kjaer picks out Sow with a long ball over the top into the Krasnodar penalty area, but the winger has no support from a tight angle and his tame effort on goal is easily gathered up by Kritsyuk.
65'
R. Laborde enters the game and replaces Wanderson.
A first change for Krasnodar now as Wanderson is replaced by Ricardo Laborde.
63'
V. Kaleshin gets yellow.
Kaleshin is shown a yellow card for a poor challenge on Hassan Ali. That really was late from the Krasnodar skipper who could count himself fortunate not to have seen red.
CLOSE!! Fenerbahce work a corner short before Lens fires a fierce low cross across the edge of the six-yard box which bounces around dangerously before Podberezkin hacks it clear. That could have gone anywhere!
61'
Smolov once again involved as he holds the ball up and lays it into the path of the onrushing Wanderson, but the Brazilian goes for goal from 25 yards out and fires the effort high into the stands.
59'
R. Neustädter gets yellow.
Neustadter becomes the latest player to go into the book after a lovely turn from Smolov had left him behind, meaning he had very little option other than to pull the striker back and prevent the counter-attack.
58'
Souza creates space for a cross on the right-hand side and whips in a dangerous looking ball, but Kritsyuk comes out well to collect it before immediately distributing the ball up field. Krasnodar are certainly keen to play at a high tempo.
56'
Lovely build up play from Krasnodar as Wanderson and Podberezkin link up well on the edge of the box, but the latter’s final pass into the area slices off the outside of his boot and straight out for a goal kick.
54'
A half chance for Fenerbahce now as Sow looks to attempt a spectacular first-time volley at the back post but completely misses the ball. You feel if the visitors are going to get anything from this game they’re going to have to take any half chances they get.
52'
Smolov goes to ground and looks to the referee for a free-kick but his appeals are waived away. It’s certainly been a bright start to the second half from the centre-forward though.
50'
H. Kaldırım gets yellow.
Another yellow card now, this time for Hasan Ali as he clearly pulls back Wanderson. Podberezkin produces a much better cross than Lens did moments earlier from the free-kick but the Fenerbahce defence just about do enough to prevent Smolov from getting a clean header on goal and the danger passes.
48'
C. Kaboré gets yellow.
Kabore goes into the book for a foul on Sow but Lens fails to beat the first man with a poor ball in from the resultant free-kick, which just about sums up Fenerbahce’s performance so far.
47'
Krasnodar look to have picked up where they left off at the end of the first half here as Smolov lays the ball into the path of Ramirez on the overlap, and the left-back looks to put in a cross back towards Smolov, but Kjaer just gets to the ball ahead of the striker before Kaleshin blasts the follow-up wide from 30 yards out.
46'
Kick-off! Krasnodar get the second half underway.
45'
Huge chance for Smolov!!! Podberezkin rolls the ball into the striker who turns Kjaer brilliantly just inside the box, but can only fire his shot high and wide from 15 yards out.
44'
Naldo very nearly gifts Fenerbahce a chance as he fails to control a simple pass inside his own penalty box, but he just manages to recover in time to hack the ball clear.
42'
V. Podberezkin gets yellow.
Podberezkin is shown a yellow card for a pretty cynical trip on Lens.
40'
Wonderful play from Krasnodar as Wanderson and Smolov link up on the edge of the box before the latter lays the ball into the path of Claesson, but the winger’s attempted first-time pass back to Smolov is a poor one and goes straight into Demirel’s grateful arms.
38'
Wonderful save from Demirel!!! Ramirez pulls back a low cross towards Podberezkin who strikes a first-time towards the bottom corner from 10 yards out, but Demirel springs to his left to keep the effort out.
35'
A good little spell for Fenerbahce now brings boos from the home fans with Sow and Lens seeing much more of the ball down either flank. Ramirez though cuts out the danger with a good sliding tackle on Ozbayrakli as the right-back looks to get into a crossing position.
32'
Lens looks to play a clever ball over the top for Alper Potuk to chase, but the on-loan Sunderland winger puts too much on it and Potuk is unable to get there before the ball rolls out for a goal kick. Lens has looked as likely as anyone for Fenerbahce though.
30'
Charles Kabore looks to pick out Ramirez with a long cross-field pass which is just intercepted by Ozbayrakli. It’s all Krasnodar here though and Dick Advocaat looks absolutely furious on the touchline.
28'
Smolov is looking dangerous every time he gets on the ball here for Krasnodar, this time looking to burst away from Roman Neustadter down the right-hand touchline but the centre-back does well to stay with his man and knock the ball out of play for a throw in.
26'
Lens gets into a good position inside the right-hand edge of the Krasnodar penalty box but his cross is a poor one and is easily cleared, although in Lens' defence, he had very little support to aim for.
24'
Martynovich once again brings the ball up towards the edge of the penalty box with absolutely no pressure on him, Dick Advocaat will certainly be concerned by the way his side have started here as Krasnodar are enjoying far too much time on the ball.
22'
Krasnodar certainly look the more comfortable of the two teams at the moment, with Martynovich able to bring the ball well inside the Fenerbahce half from centre-back at will.
19'
Another opportunity for Krasnodar as Smolov produces a lovely turn close to halfway to get away from the Fenerbahce midfield, but the striker chooses to ignore the supporting run of Vyacheslav Podberezkin and go for goal himself only to be tackled on the edge of the area, prompting a furious reaction from his teammate.
17'
Fenerbahce look to have a chance to break towards the Krasnodar penalty area after loose play from Vitali Kaleshin, but Emenike inexplicably turns away from goal and passes the ball straight back to the home side with no Fenerbahce players in sight.
15'
Both managers are on the edge of their technical areas and looking pretty animated here, but Igor Shalimov will certainly be the happier of the two.
13'
Fenerbahce with their first real venture into the Krasnodar box now as Jeremain Lens whips in a cross from the right towards Moussa Sow who gets his head to the ball, but the flag goes up for offside against him as he heads well wide of Stanislas Kritsyuk’s goal.
11'
Ramirez breaks forward down the left and looks to get down the outside of Ozbayrakli, but the right-back does well to stay with him and prevent the cross from coming in. It’s been a bright start from the Krasnodar left-back though.
9'
Fedor Smolov looks to slip the ball into the path of Claesson who’s made a good run into the box, but he just puts too much weight on the pass and Volkan Demirel easily gathers it up.
6'
It’s far from a full house here inside the Krasnodar Stadium, but that goal has certainly given the home fans something to cheer about in the early stages despite the temperature being around -3 degrees.
4'
V. Claesson has scored a goal for Krasnodar! Assist by Wanderson.
Wanderson put in a lovely cross from the right-hand edge of the box there for Claesson to head home.
GOOOOAAALLLLLL!!!! Viktor Claesson heads Krasnodar ahead!! Alyaksandr Martynovich makes a wonderful run forwards down the right-hand side before rolling the ball back to Wanderson, and the winger crosses into the middle of the area where Claesson heads home from six yards out.
2'
Sener Ozbayrakli brings down Cristian Ramirez close to halfway with a rash challenge but the referee opts against showing the full-back an early yellow card.
1'
Kick-off! Emmanuel Emenike gets the game underway for Fenerbahce.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Europa League last 32 tie between Krasnodar and Fenerbahce at Krasnodar Stadium.
With the Russian Premier League currently in the middle of a winter break, Krasnodar have not played a competitive match since their 2-1 defeat to Nice in the final Europa League group stage match in December, a game in which Andreas Granqvist was sent off for the Russian side.
Fenerbahce meanwhile come into the game in good form having lost just one of their last six games, and currently sit fourth in the Turkish Super Lig table following a 1-1 draw with Bursaspor last time out.
The two sides progressed into the last 32 in contrasting styles, with Fenerbahce taking top spot in Group A ahead of Manchester United, while Krasnodar qualified as runners-up from Group I despite winning just two of their six games.
Krasnodar manager Igor Shalimov has made a total of seven changes to the side that started against Nice, with several of the players who started that game having since left the club. Alyaksandr Martynovich, Naldo, Yury Gazinski and Fedor Smolov are the only men to retain their places, while Cristian Ramirez makes his debut for the club at left-back.
Fenerbahce make just three changes from the side that draw with Bursaspor, with Roman Neustadter and Hasan Ali replacing Martin Skrtel and Ismail Koybasi in defence, while Emmanuel Emenike replaces Aatif Chachechouhe as the lone striker.
This is the first ever meeting between the two sides, and indeed the first time Krasnodar have faced Turkish opposition. Fenerbahce though have played six matches against Russian teams, winning two and drawing three.
The teams are making their way out onto the pitch, kick-off is not far away now.
Half-time: Krasnodar 1-0 Fenerbahce
The home side deservedly lead here at the Krasnodar Stadium thanks to Claesson’s debut goal in just the fourth minute. It could easily have been more for Krasnodar too, as they’ve had a couple of good opportunities extend their lead having dominated the half.
Fenerbahce manager Dick Advocaat meanwhile has looked a frustrated figure on the touchline during what has been a pretty abject performance from his side thus far, and he may not waste too much time in turning to his bench in the second half in attempt to get a foothold in this game.
Full-time: Krasnodar 1-0 Fenerbahce
So Krasnodar will take a narrow advantage into the second leg in Turkey after Viktor Claesson’s early goal gave them a 1-0 win here at the Krasnodar Stadium.
